been using it for 3 years now and never had any problem with it. the overstuffed traffic and rows of buses of the same line, I see more as an issue of the game itself rather than a mod issue, because it happens without the mod as well. perfect mod, simple but effective.:steamthumbsup:

Gonna have to give this one a thumbs down, I had way too many buses and it began clogging my networks. Should be a way to modulate the budgeting according to your preferences.

can we get a ingame thing to ajust the max allowed buses? i have one line with 23 buses.. thats WAY to many for the short line that only get 203 people

@snowie - we found an issue caused by Auto Line Budget 21. The combination of Unified UI, Picker (also Move it and probably Network Anarchy) works smooth until Auto Line Budget 21 is added. Please contact me on discord.

Hi @Chamëleon TBN Nice to hear from you again :) I'm pretty sure it has nothing to do with the type of road, but it's the same problem as other players have. Which is when one stop on a line is like 10 times more crowded than all the other stops. I've made a correction, which should help with this. Please try it out.

@Marsuli i have been a long-time user of ipt2 and recently switched to tlm, because i feel something is broken for a while with ipt2 and it has been a while it's been updated.
Regarding this, i have been through all options of tlm and i have seen nothing that indicates automatic budget selection, there is a way to set the amount, but dont see anything for automatic adjustment.
If you say this mod works fine with tlm, i am giving it a go, i think i am using way too many buses for what i need lol.

@JakkaptSJ I think it still works after P&P dlc. It sometimes annoyingly seems to set the amount of buses to 0 buses. I'm not 100% sure whether it's this mod though. @BkoxaL possibly claims TLM also has something like this, but I'm unable to confirm this. You can set budget on an hourly basis on TLM mod. I've used this mod side by side with TLM so far and I'm fairly confident the budget automatically changes.

works great for busses! it's a bit over ambitious on my longer train lines resulting in queuing of trains. It would be nice if it had the ability to enable/disable auto management on specific lines or transit types.

The mod is very good, and I used it for a long time. But unfortunately, I do not know for what reason, the mod does not properly handle the stop at the airport. I have two stops. One at the airport, the other at the theme park. The airport stop has about 2,000 passengers constantly piling up who can't make it to the park. With only two or three buses on the line. All my attempts to remedy the situation result in a return to three buses, with the fact that the distance to the park is quite long and their return period is also long. The roads themselves are free and there is no congestion. I don't know why the mod works this way in this situation, but I had to give it up, although I was otherwise very happy with it.

Thanks to the author of this mod, but I would like to have an additional button for each line that would allow you to turn autobalancing on or off for a particular line.

@Lord_of_Aces052 1. Yes, it will work. 2. The mod just chooses a number of vehicles on your routes. You have to create the routes yourself.

2. If I put a Bus, Taxi, or Tram stop/depot, will it automatically map them throughout the city on every street?

@drakkart Hey :) I've constructed the mod to work realistically. Adding a vehicle when only one stop has too many waiting passengers is not realistic, because it will cause losses on the rest of the route. You should redesign the network. For example add another route overlapping on the busiest section. That's how transit planners do it.

hey @snowie i am playing with realtime mod meaning my day and night is different and also is the utilization of the public transport through the day... meaning Realtime creates real rushhours. so i am wondering i instead of the wait time the mod could just be set to as soon s any stop hs cims waiting 1xx% of vehicle capacity add one or if avrage use of vehicles is below x% ... something ike this. oh yeah btw. i hate the bird so i hide it. would be cool to have a different ui for this mod.

@Castiel. You have to give the mod 24 daylight hours to adjust. If after that time you've got too many passengers waiting, that means your route has uneven demand, so you should make changes to your network.

Nice mod, but can you add an override button or something? My 7 km metro line has 4 trains. Its over 500 people in que. Or am I doing something wrong?

I have to unsubscribe to this mod for now because it doesn't offer the customization needed to address my priorities, which may be different for each route, which has so far resulted in me frequently fighting the mod instead of being helped by it.
I study optimization problems so feel free to contact me if you'd like me to assist more constructively on improving the mod.

@doctornull You don't want to waste money on empty buses driving one after the other and generating traffic, do you? Plan your network better. The mod optimises operation costs + travel times.

I'm seeing bus lines with low average waiting cims but very high maximum waiting cims (e.g. over 400 people at one bus stop, ~1 at every other stop).

For that bus line, the mod has reduced the number of busses below 100% budget.

Is the mod currently looking at averages and not maximum?

@Wikipedia OK, so I guess you need more patience. Remember in real life the number of vehicles doesn't change so fast. Buses etc. have schedules, which are made in advance. Cities also don't grow so fast for it to become a problem.

The change of waiting time of cims on the stop will not affect this mod. It will adjust accordingly.

Don't worry about capacities and vehicle types, the mod knows what to do with it.

If there's something not as you expected, then I think either the mod hasn't got enough time to get the data or the demand on your routes is very uneven. In that case you should change the network design.

@snowie hm... Okej, because i sat staring on My bus lines yesterday for like 40 minutes (real life minutes) and even increased population in My newly started city from 2k to 3.3k and the bus count didnt increase on any of the lines while demand increased by quite alot. The amount of busses on two of the lines were not nearly enough because there were atleast 60% of the waiting cims left on the most populated stops after a bus picked up.
The initial decrease in budget worked fine, went from 100% down to 18% but after that nothing seemed to happen anymore.

Will "Anxiety Reducer 2" mod affect this mod in a bad way I.E not changing count because cims stay at the stop longer than usual before getting bored?

Does changing vehicle and/or capacity of vehicle affect the mod in a way that makes the mod redo its 24h calculation?

Does expanding the city fast have negative effects on the mod?

Anything else you can think of that i might have done wrong?

@Wikipedia With Real Time mod it's game hour instead of sun hour, so 24 hours instead of 3 months. After that it updates every hour, but always take average from the last 24 hours.

How long does it take for the mod to do updates to vehicles count on a life after the initial set after 3 months ingame time? Does it always need exactly 3 months game time to update the count on a line?
