Unfortunately not, you'd likely have to go to your files and replace the underwater overlay texture with a blank texture for that to work. I haven't touched SFM in ages, so you're on your own on that.

is it possible to have the camera under water without the water overlay effect? It blurs my animation badly. I really love this map :(

when you start a session in SFM, it starts a TF2 session in the background for game mode... but it's simulated even when not in game-mode. so uh the player just drowns over and over on this map, spawning ragdolls; which show up if you enable the view of 'Other Entites'.

For future cases, yes you usually have to restart SFM for new maps to show up.

@UrLittleDashie I know what you mean I am trying to work on a project myself :/ And the ships are too big for this map. I am working on a Godzilla Team MLP Crossover, idea that I had called Vengeance and Darkness, only problem is the lack of Ocean Maps and the fact that I can't animate for crap on SFM I have to just map pictures and screenshots.

That would be your in-game character constantly drowning over and over again. You can switch to game view and noclip away from the water to fix it.

I'm getting a strange issue. There are blue scout corpses appearing in my session. I don't know how to explain it.

With the underwater issue, couldn't you make a version with a good underwater and a bad surface? I think it would solve the problem, but that's just me lol

Why's the surface of the water not show up? I sorta expected to... see the water. it just looks like a flat blue void, it looks better from underwater.

Had the same problem, just downloaded the first version and when sfm ask for the pop up message click yes. That is how it worked for me.

i got some error in sfm console... it's say "maps/sfm_watervoid_v2_dark.bsp" is not a valid BSP file...

If you're familiar with fog manipulation you can recolor the fog to match with your custom skybox, otherwise you can just turn it off with fog_override 1 and then fog_enable 0. This will, however, reset everytime you boot up SFM again, but it would only take 10 seconds to redo anyways.

Is there any way to fix the white streak along the top of the water when it gets to the skybox? It looks fine with the original skybox but I'd like to use a different one if possible.

Ok so ocean void is perfect for what I am trying to do. Empty with just water, some fog, and the water moves when an object is in it like real life.

I can't make the map larger as this is pretty much as much water as Source can handle. I might look into making a dusk/night version of the map at a later time, thanks for the suggestion.
