Aesthetic wise, this hits every mark, but I can't for the life of me find out how to make the reactor power up the sub to begin any campaigns.

The boat is extremely poorly made. First, there are too many unnecessary buttons. Why the second button to start the reactor? Why did you remove the Dock button? Secondly, a huge amount of detail leads to a drop in FPS. It would be nice to write a detailed guide to such a boat.

I'll do both vanilla and light EK modded, As the shuttles carry torpedoes the sub is only equipped with machine gun and quad auto-canon with delay

If you are adding EK include some of those new heavy railguns, they make any sub feel like a battleship.

Hey Vive, yeah i downloaded your old version, it was cool but super super buggy. I wouldn't do the EK armory one unless you do a normal one to, when the game updates it can break those mods and the sub in the process, and it requires more people on servers to download the mods just to play on the server. it's just bad all around.

For the shuttle complement, thinking of redoing like my original (never published) with one aqua-evac (the large one) and 2 combat small shuttles like this one

I'm redoing it from scratch with a shape more in line with the movie, without lag and a better layout for AI bot and just a tad smaller.

I'm thinking of including elements from EK Gunnery and Shipyard that fit perfectly the move lore (The sub have a diesel generator array for example)

Yeah still there, getting back to making some sub, did others stuff but i'm ready to work on this one to delete the lag and adding more gadget made elsewhere

Oh sweet! that sounds amazing, would you mind posting that one, I could totally look at making it AI friendly to.
I also did a small adjustment to the reactor room, giving it a side door, it makes navigating the sub for the AI and humans so much easier.
I have almost played an entire campaign with it. it's been so much fun.
I also attached the docking hate power to the power array, it wasn't set up before. easy fix.
this is by far one of the best most amazing subs on the workshop.
i can't wait to see the aqua evac!

Hey there dev, i fixed the AI problem and not it can be used with AI almost perfectly, they don't get stuck anymore and can reach everything.

I can send you the file if you would like to repost it.

also would you consider making the big square sub pod that could leave the bottom? maybe try extending the hanger a bit and removing one of the subpods?

Yeah this sub is just amazing ,but the shadow casting lights causes the lag. just to let you know.

also the pathing in it is a bit off for the AI it needs to be redrawn in some areas.

Hey, thanks for the feedback, i'm trying to find the source of the lag, maybe too much item or what I think is the door that may be misaligned or stuck

the sub bay doors for the mini subs, either wont let me take the small subs past the bay doors they just get stuck there.

Beautiful sub!!

A couple minor notes: you should try setting the searchlights/ turret lights to "draw behind sub" because large shadow casting lights are very very laggy.

there is an unwired searchlight by the sonar transducer

you may want to review the propeller offsets, the update has reset them. the update also udpated the AI waypoints generator (though still not quite perfect)

the sprite for minerals, including quartz, has changed

Over all this sub is a great concept and would be really cool if the AI actually worked, just dumb releasing a sub with no proper AI mapping. Once the AI Mapping is proper, and the sub has less lag, as well the engine working right, then ya, I would actually use it in a camp.

In order to start the reactor and then the oxygen, you must follow the instructions
- Put rod in the reactor and then either use the control console or the reactor in automatic by deactivating the control lever

Thank you for responding, although I still hold my opinion about this ship possibly not making it to the end of a campaign, that certainly doesn't make it a bad ship, in fact it's a great one that I aspire to have one of mine aside one day

I was in the sub editor, but I get a better understanding in-game, I saw the ammo storage in the ballast, and while being a good use of space, it's not really ideal for me,but it's your sub and you can put whatever where ever you want. and I was referring to the lockers that are not interactable, I understand personal lockers.

I wish I had a 7 or 8 man crew for this because It looks like it would be a blast. I know the shuttles have a forward firing railgun, but I find the idea of being scrambled to repel large enemies, especially in small shuttles, to be death defying, but what isn't on Europa. I'll admit to being completely wrong about the storage area, I generally have trouble navigating large ships so I was having trouble finding it in game, and I apparently didn't remove enough layers when I went digging in the sub editor, sorry about that

The lockers you can't open are the personal lockers, the captain must open those and give the locker idcard to the crewmember.

In addition, there is 2 large ammunition storage in both ballast, please check the sub in the editor for a better understanding of the layout

@ZAJL thanks for the feedback, this sub is mainly for multi-crew campaign and as such need a full crew including combat pilots maning the 3 shuttles (those shuttles have forward firing railgun and are the most important aspect of the Ulysses defense)

For the cargo, it spawn next to the docking airlock with the large crate rack and the main storage is at the back of the ship in the crafting area

For the ballast, I buffed those maybe a bit too much, will look into it :)

This ships control is funny, one of the only vessels I know that goes up faster than it goes forward. The guns are also interesting, I like the glass bubble, but the lack of a railgun on the main submarine definitely makes the sub much less viable, so no killing anything north of threshers, and even threshers will make quick work of the turrets, glass is nothing to them. I am impressed by the hanger system, using a sub that's literally a brick that you can tell to go down to allow ships to leave is a very interesting solution that I will probably be replicating. there are a lot of items that look like containers that just aren't that is a little misleading, I actually can't find a cargo area, or general storage, and the very limited space for coilgun ammo will certainly make the campaign not really viable at the later stages I imagine, hammerheads, molochs, watchers, thalamus, I don't see a very good solution for killing these and still having ammo for the journey ahead.

it's a very pretty submarine, the level of detail is incredible here and it's clear that you went for accuracy from the movie as well as adding the Barotruama necessities, but I still feel conflicted on it. I'll start off with saying that I am most likely not experienced enough to use this vessel solo, and I don't have a crew to test it with, but I'll still try to give my thoughts on the ship. firstly it looks amazing, truly a beautiful sub, that causes some visual noise issues though, sometimes it's hard to figure out what something does because there is a lot of stuff everywhere. and while I'm not a fan of the orange lighting, it's not too dim, too orange, or too bright. having most of the buttons and levers be labeled is really good, it makes it easier to figure stuff out, but I still prefer labels above the lever or button.

I have seen some lag, so that is an issue. It might be cool to make a performance light and performance heavy version. So theres a version for both people who value aesthetics and people who value performance. Also, Im aware the AI can't use the telegram system, however they also can't properly navigate around the bridge and get stuck when try to repair the glass or devices.
