Bro, how to change country colour ?
A1ni💪! 29 May, 2022 @ 5:01pm
Any chance to create a colour changer for nations via events or similar, for the player that is?
SmoreShiba 26 May, 2022 @ 9:41am
I know this isn't needed anymore but thank you for making this when it was needed. It was always a joy to use.
A1ni💪! 13 Jan, 2022 @ 3:59pm
Thank you! I find the biggest thing in map-painting simulators is the colour with which i will be painting.... I awarded the shit outta you, thank you keep up the good work!
Valentino 31 Dec, 2021 @ 6:20pm
I'm changing the CoA of my primary title but after a little time CoA turning back to original one. Any idea? :crying_yeti:

This mod has Stopped working recently
Winter.K 29 Oct, 2021 @ 8:26pm
Does it work in the new version???
Boka 20 Aug, 2021 @ 8:22pm
Actually there is a way to make this MOD working for ONGOING game by editing the save file. You can 1) start a new game with this MOD activated, 2) save the new game, 3) open the save by some text editor (maybe need to decompress first and then add suffix .ck3 to the save file), 4) search the new titles added by the MOD like "k_red_kingdom" and "k_blue_kingdom" (You can find these title names in the MOD file, or you can just search for the color you want), 5) copy the code block for these tiles and paste it to the save for the ongoing game, 6) change the numbers of these title to some unique big numbers like 99991, 99992, 99993... 7) save the modified ongoing game save file by another name with suffix .ck3 and load it in the game. I tried it for the map color decision and it works. For the COA part, I just want to make my title the same as my house COA and the MOD just worked in an ongoing game before I did any modification.
ursaber 13 Jul, 2021 @ 9:58pm
so this mod only works with NEW GAMES and not already ongoing games, that's a downer
Amicus 4 Jul, 2021 @ 2:12pm
Any chance we can get some more color options?
Slipnit 18 Jun, 2021 @ 9:07am
Must have mod, crazy that option like this is not in the base game. No more piss-yellow Finland for me!
OGbaba 7 Jun, 2021 @ 5:05pm
Great mod and just a question to anyone with modding experience would the reverse be possible for the COA? As in could there be an option for a dynasty to take the COA of their main Barony, Duchy, Kingdom or Empire?
Vince 27 Mar, 2021 @ 5:20pm
Great mod!, is working fine for me :)
Rhaeven 17 Mar, 2021 @ 11:45pm
Small gripe, why is it that you need to be an adult and not a child to use the decisions of changing the realm colour and the realm CoA?
Sparatikk 4 Mar, 2021 @ 3:33pm
I cant seem to get this mod to work, there isn't a decision in game to change colors. Is there more that I need to do other than clicking subscribe?
Rhaeven 4 Mar, 2021 @ 4:45am
@jamespklouse In the file explorer location of Steam, go to workshop, the id that CK3 has (1158310) then locate '2355113118'. That's the id of this mod.
A good rule of thumb to find the workshop folder is to copy the url of this or any mod page and check the numbers that are followed by 'id='.
jamespklouse 3 Mar, 2021 @ 6:37pm
Where is the location of the mod folder exactly so I can find 01_cck_titles.txt? Thanks for your help.
lazarusblack 27 Feb, 2021 @ 9:41am
The AI seems to take the decision to change primary title coat of arms.
우주고양이괴수 9 Feb, 2021 @ 12:47am
It's a really cool mode! i am using it well! Could the ability to change title CoA to family CoA be added?
Billiam 29 Jan, 2021 @ 5:34pm
Dug around in "01_landed_titles.txt" and saw that some of the titles have alternate versions based on culture, so if that's the case for the holding and your culture does not match that of your liege/realm, then the CoA gets switched, hence the need to keep changing it back every so often.
Billiam 22 Jan, 2021 @ 12:46pm
The realm colours stay fixed, but when I increase rank above count, then the game seems to check the duchy/kingdom arms and revert them back to the defaults. I guess it's something to do with the de jure system and there's a periodic check to see if any counties should switch from one duchy to another...? Can't think what else would be causing it.
Rhaeven 22 Jan, 2021 @ 1:44am
The ability to change the coat of arms of your primary title in a variety of ways is definitely one of my favourite things about this mod. Great job!
buddykenner  [author] 18 Jan, 2021 @ 2:04pm
Unfortunately I have never seen the titles reset their color, so I cant begin to guess what would cause it.
Billiam 17 Jan, 2021 @ 10:20am
Great mod, but titles I change have switch back after a few years at the same time. the game seems to look for changes and "correct" them. Any idea how to stop it?
buddykenner  [author] 15 Jan, 2021 @ 7:30pm
If you load this mod in a save game from before it was installed, the only parts that work are the simple coat of arms changes, no changing map color and no saving/loading custom coat of arms
TdizzleGod 14 Jan, 2021 @ 12:36pm
is this mod savegame compatible
Wolves in the Throne Room 13 Jan, 2021 @ 2:18pm
Oh I see now, you can edit the 'gamestate' file with notepad++, but have to add .ck3 at the end of the file name when done or the game won't read it
Wolves in the Throne Room 13 Jan, 2021 @ 2:15pm
So I've unzipped my save with 7Zip, WinZip and WinRar and everytime it extracts a file called gamestate which cannot be opened further. I've opened saves before on CK2 and EUIV, never seen this before
nantaent 13 Jan, 2021 @ 1:00pm
Please add option to change dynasty coat of arms. I want to my dynasty coa like HRE coa.
buddykenner  [author] 13 Jan, 2021 @ 10:38am
I just unpack the saves with 7zip
Wolves in the Throne Room 12 Jan, 2021 @ 10:00pm
@buddykenner How are you unpacking the save games? there's no more option to save it as unpacked file like CKII and EUIV did
Wolves in the Throne Room 11 Jan, 2021 @ 2:00pm
Cheers!
buddykenner  [author] 11 Jan, 2021 @ 10:33am
If you want to edit a title's color permanently you can edit it in the 00_landed_titles.txt. Or make a 1 file mod that overwrites it.

If you are ok with editing your save you can add colors to titles manually.
extract your save then search for the title you want to change:

7480={
key="k_asturias"

#skipping a few lines

color=rgb { 0 0 220 } coat_of_arms_id=1837

add the bold text to make it blue for example
Wolves in the Throne Room 10 Jan, 2021 @ 10:40pm
Anyway to be able to do this to an ongoing campaign? Asturias needs to lose the purple
~Jim E 10 Jan, 2021 @ 5:44am
awesome mod! It would be great if you could also change the colours of custom religions because the default orange isn't doing it for me.
Mightus 9 Jan, 2021 @ 3:04pm
Great idea for mod! However it seems not to be working for me, I am playing as empire tier ruler with caliph title, so maybe that is the issue.
Gandhito 9 Jan, 2021 @ 2:43pm
Great, just yesterday I was trying to figure out how to change my kingdom's color. Then this mod shows up! Thanks ;)
Xwartu 9 Jan, 2021 @ 12:59am
Literally just a week after I modded my own color in because I couldn't find this mod. FML. Great for my new run though!
Plaqe 8 Jan, 2021 @ 10:32pm
now all i need is a kingdom flag customizer and i will be at peace
Blood Lightning 8 Jan, 2021 @ 8:31pm
things like this is why i love the mod community
BlackLuck 8 Jan, 2021 @ 4:50pm
