Look what I found!

I just got this and there seem to be a few missing tile textures the game is warning me about. The hand zones are also in the middle of the table instead of on the edges.

That's odd - I see the error message on load, but all the tiles are there. Not sure what the problem is.

We don't actually play this version anymore, we set up a newer version called "Godzilla Tokyo Clash on the Flex Table" which is a bigger tabletop, and we added more monsters along with their decks and mats.

We did find that pushing the lift height all the way down makes placing figures in hexes a whole lot easier, though we still get the occasional "godzilla, you're drunk..." when the figures fall over.

I'm hoping to find a model of the Tokyo Ttower to place in the center hex, its about as old as godzilla.

We used your Showa Godzilla to stand in for MechaGodzilla when he has the Fake Godzilla skin on.I forgot we have one more card deck to play - we also have Anguirus!

I put it up in the workshop because i'm playtesting with friends 4-500 miles away (I'm in Hawaii, they are in the midwest and East Coast) and that way they could find it and download the mod to host (it works WAY better if somebody else is the Host...)...

I am working on assembling a newer version (not uploaded to the workshop, i'm waiting on updates to several of the card decks based on our game last Sunday) that is set on a flexible table i found in the workshop (you can change size to allow enough space to fit all the bits, monsters and their cards) with all the card sets, and your monsters as well as the better pieces in your Mod (those are beautiful... i love the buildings and figures to replace the counters). All credits and praise to you and Viewtiful Josh for all the work you have done already. A million thanks for all you've done to make this game work in TTS.

Those are beautiful!

We have been borrowing your figures to add to the game, we shrink yours to fit on the hexes by using the gizmo tool to change the dimensions (x,y, and z) from 0.25 to 0.10, which brings your beautiful models down to match the models in Viewtiful josh's Mod. At that size they can be fit in alongside the buildings and not fall over.

I have been adding decks from card sets on the Facebook groups and the BGG forum for the game - we currently have 11 decks with MechaGodzilla (classic), Space Godzilla, Rodan, Gigan, Destroyah, and Jet Jaguar, with Ebirah in work. I'd add King Kong but can't find a model.
I did change the table to make a bigger playing area so we can do up to 5 players, I put up a mod based on Viewtiful Josh's original, with all the decks, called "MechaGodzilla Tokyo Clash."

Wow awesome work. I wonder if they're ever gonna add any expansions to Tokyo Clash...then again how hard could it be to make custom decks to play as other monsters... 🤔

@Shade those are definitely good ideas! As soon as I catch a long enough break to make a revision here I'll be sure to update.

This is great! Hats off to Viewtiful Josh on digitising this game. Obviously theres a couple of improvements needed like the board not fitting together too well, but it plays just like the physical game! The models are a cool upgrade from the flat tokens, but they also present a gameplay issue. Its practically impossible to stand the kaiju on any tiles that are occupied by any vehicles or buildings, which is pretty much all of them. I'd suggest making the hitboxes of the new models flat like the old tokens so the kaiju can stand on them okay. I've also noticed the flying pieces (Jets and UFOs) are just kinda at ground level atm so a good idea would be to hover the models over the hitboxes so that they look like they're in the sky. Hope I could help! :steamhappy:
