I'll see about toning down the ratios a bit. Perhaps once I get around to implementing all the variants I want to add it'll be more evenly distributed.
One thing I can think that might be causing it is of the multiple variants of the Cascadia & VNL in which is making them spawn a lot more then before perhaps.
Do take care of yourself in real life and I am looking forward to the next upgrade.
Do check the forum post tho! I did post some stuff I've been working on
Thanks fpr the mod.
Cheers.
Let you know.
Cheers.
Definitely down the line! I want to make some more "custom" AI trucks that will have a low chance of spawning. Though I want to get more of the commonly seen variants first! I do have a small change to the 389 though that will be in the next update.
@Alabama
Check your other mods, this mod doesn't touch any trailer files. If you can make a new profile with just my mod enabled and see if you have the same issue.
Perhaps! I play more ATS nowadays then ETS2, but once I'm happy with my additions for this mod I'll see about doing one for ETS2
I live in a pretty urban area of Chicago. Here on the highways we mainly have more modern "aero" trucks. I'm aware that in rural areas older trucks like the W900 and 389 are more common. but unfortunately ATS currently has no way to set the spawn rate for certain trucks in only specific parts of the states. Meaning that I could make them less common in cities, but in turn that would make it incompatible with a lot of traffic spawnrate/behaviour mods like Cip's.
Considering that lot of driving in ATS is done on main interstate and state highways, I figured lowering the spawn rate for daycab W900s and 389s seemed realistic, though I'll admit I may have set the rate a bit low. I have raised the spawnrate for the next update, not to the default SCS rates (which fun fact, a lot of the older default SCS trucks dont even have a set spawnrate, so they use whatever the default value is), but to make them a bit more common to see.
i love this kind of mod

Already got a 2016 facelift VNL done with hoodmirrors, and I plan to add them onto the other trucks
