I am now back from abroad and so hope to address and improve many of the issues that you have highlighted.
First off will be the basics, such as utilities and crafting stations. Next I will try to control the landscape a it more (Stupid grass everywhere). After that, more furnishings and lighting.
Beyond that - extra features if possible. I have kept this house vanilla so no DLC is required. This obviously has its limitations, however I must keep accessibility in mind for those who havent bought all the expansions.
TL;DR - I'm working on it.
If I am going to be able to craft in a home then I want to be able to craft everything there. Not possible in this home because there are no Smelter or Enchanting table.
You might also fix it so it does not rain inside the house.
Like I said, so far so good but can be better.
Thank you for your comments and suggestions, you have some very good ideas there!
I have been adding some bookshelves today, and hope to find room for more (maybe upstairs). Same goes for the weapon racks.
Having the garden useable would be lovely. I have not used Hearthfire so far, but it may be worth porting it over...
I definitely like the idea of the fence and well. Make it a bit more Homestead-like. Doors have now been added, although I wont lock people out untill I find somewhere good to store the key!
Certainly lots to work with! Thank you for taking the time to comment. It makes my job a lot easier and also more rewarding.
Hope you will consider my ideas.
