There's a problem where the walking sound keeps playing for a few seconds after the vehicle stops moving.

Yeah, it seems the LFS ground vehicle update broke this addon.

Heya, I love this addon but I think it broke recently as when trying to walk with it with the engine ignited it won't move. Is this a client side issue or did the mod break? Any help would be great :GalacticEmpire:

make the animation slow down as thje machine does please. beacuse as it is almost not moving anymore the animation is still running. thanks

As far as the ability to walk sideways its functionally easy and I can do it in the future depending on my availability to work on public free projects as I would have to make a custom animation for it to walk sideways.

Hello, I had some time to work on this project and I have updated it today adding some features and changes:

Added:
-Ability to walk backwards with animation
-Ability to turn the head 35 degrees to either side.
-AOE damage effect to primary fire

Changed:
-Health increased to 20000 by default
-Primary fire does 200 dmg by default on direct hits falling off as you get farther from impact.
-Slowed the walker by 15%
-Slowed Acceleration by 15%
-Lowered volume of explosion sound for grenades.

Yeah updated has been pushed out.

All 3 guns pitch up and down by 30 degrees based on where you are looking.
Added the grenade launcher similar to BF2
Added the missile launcher similar to BF2

In shared.lua you can edit the maximum amount of missiles you want on the vehicle for your server and the time it takes to reload each missile.

Cleaned up the timers so they shouldn't cause any errors if the vehicle gets destroyed/removed while one is running

Added text on the HUD to indicated Grenade count and Missile count.

There were more minor adjustments, but that seems to be about it.

Hello, I pushed an update which gave a walking sound in sync with the animation and bound the animation more to the speed of the vehicle which should allow you to adjust the speed without making the legs look like a child's wind up toy. I also adjusted the firing style to fire more like an actual ATST. Now I have lots of stuff to deal with but I'm hoping to give it the ability to point up and down to a certain degree and perhaps get an animation for side stepping and implement backwards walking.

I think It needs a walking sound, and also the walking looks, weird, not bad just weird, also i'm a little nervous about the AT-DP, because this one just has the genaric AT-AT/AT-ST Blaster sound, which is correct, but with the AT-DP it sounds different when you get up to the blaster sound for the walker, please try to find a way to make it sound like how it did in Rebels, if its not possible then i'm fine with that, cause I would understand.

I won't lie, I'm happy that we have a LFS AT-ST at long last, but for some reason there is no sound when walking, the head of the AT-ST doesn't move as the entire AT-ST just floats to where I'm aiming, including not being able to aim, or use the secondary weaponry.

I can’t turn around on an axis, the tank’s jneck is immovable so I have to move back to hit close range targets or turn the tank to hit targets slightly out of my direction.

The AT-ST wont look or down when it comes to shooting too, its like its neck is frozen, but like I said before this is cool that we finally got a LFS vehicles that is a AT-ST
