Same here! I would like to run 3rd rail electrics but cannot find any decent tracks. A 3rd rail variant of these would be perfect.

These are really good tracks, I use them on all of my maps I create, but can you do a 3rd Rail version of the bullhead and vignole tracks mod

Can we get the OHLE as an extra mod wich replaces the original OHLE? Would be very nice :D

Excellent tracks but there doesn't seem to be a way of doing in-place upgrades at stations with the Tools menu. If I want to electrify or otherwise upgrade the track i have to rip each track module out one by one and replace it with the new one (sometimes requiring the track immediately either side of the station to be bulldozed too). Is there a way of enabling in-place upgrades?

Outside of stations it seems to upgrade fine with the track tools.

Hi killakanz, I'm on a different computer at the moment to the one I play TpF2 on, but I noticed when playing the game that this mod didn't work. Again, different computer, so can't provide images of it, but it is on video for my YouTube channel, which I conveniently haven't yet released...
Basically, you know those grey and white squares the game shows when a bridge mod has been discontinued? The game was showing those on top of ballast when I used your bullhead track mod. It's frankly really disappointing, as I was (and still am) really looking forward to getting to play with this mod. Why might it be doing this? Have I somehow managed to corrupt it? Is it incompatible with any other mods? Is the mod broken? I don't know...

Stellar work! Is there any news on speed steps or a mod that already is compatible with these rail models? That would be icing on the cake. Thanks for your hard work

this is great! finally i can start emulating real british railways! only issue is there is no british catenary replacement mods that ive found so does anyone know if one has been made that i havent found or someone who is thinking of making one?

I may be just being dim, but the tracks don't seem to like being used in station building - I just get the message about "see console for details", and I'm not sure how to do that...

Is anyone having issues with disappearing track or is it just me, I don't have any track repaints enabled. When I zoom in certain tracks next to junctions, curves or after a station disappear, zoomed out is visible.

the tracks are great with the associated catenary.
but there are far too little catenary pole. in thight curves it's completly offset.

In that case advising people to remove the old mod from existing save games that has used the mod is bad advice, as it will cause the game to crash!
It would be a good idea to remove the 'delete' message in the track menu, and replace with an 'obsolete do not use' message.

That's not a texture, that's the railway track file itself. It's still present in the old mod.
It's not in the new mod though as I made changes to the naming structure to make adding additional speed limits later less confusing, hence the old mod is now deprecated.

What texture is missing? The old mod used stock game textures...

Replacing all the track on a large existing save game is not a viable option. I would advise anyone else facing this situation is to leave the old mod in place and ignore the 'delete' message.
PS: This could be fixed by the author adding the missing texture to the new mod, or alternatively removing the 'delete' message.

I also should have made it clear somewhere that the old mod is saying it's obsolete in the track menu as a reminder that you should remove it from your saves, but this means replacing all the old mod track on your map with the new mod track before you de-activate the old mod.

Update: If you leave a save-game with the original mod active, it will work OK with new mod added.

Loaded mod, started game, original bullhead track mod still active, game started OK. In track menu there was a message that the original mod was obsolete and should be removed.
Saved game and exited, removed mod and tried to restart game the game, it crashed complaining that a texture was missing.
PS: The game had many tracks using your original mod.
Look like there is a texture in your original mod that need's adding to the new mod.

Sadly getting a CTD in my game which has(had) the previous version of these tracks. Something about missing res/config/track/kk_bullhead_medium.lua and also the same but _standard.lua. As the old tracks are now removed from the workshop that makes my save unplayable as it can't be loaded anymore. I have restarted steam as suggested to the other person having issues, but to no avail. I've also tried it with the load order both in the front and at the end.

Will there be variants where the newer and even older OLE pole types are uses as well as variants which have different speed limits (i.e. 50mph or 25mph)

Restarted Steam and tried it on a no modded map and now works.
Textures are on high [as very high reduced fps/performance in crowded areas for me.
