Thank you for this gorgeous mod. Lots of good TWWH2 mods exist, but I consider this one "royalty" in the realm of TWWH2. What makes it rise above most of the rest is a combination of quality, aesthetics, and artistic integrity.

For example, keeping dinosaurs and spiders out. It would clash with what we expect regarding nature elves, not just TWWH2 wood elves, and it would have tarnished the aesthetic. Yes, this mod does get a lot of reflected grandeur from Princess Mononoke and Narnia. But the artist must be disciplined enough to curate that reflection in the first place.

It's weird but when I use this mod, I feel something more than just the next turn in a 4X game. This isn't even the sort of game genre which grants the player a sense of the sublime, but I still feel it. As an artist, you know you created art when your work can elicit a feeling like this in at least somebody.

I removed the unicorns, pegasi and questing beasts when making the WH3 version. Can't remember ever removing them from this version though

hello! i don't know if you still check the comments but i was wondering why it says in the description that there are 17 units but i only see 14 in my game and even in the .pack file when i open it.

Were some units removed and the description not updated?

I love this mod! But would it be possible to make two requests?

1) Could you also make this mod for Warhammer 3 and Warhammer 3 SFO?

2) When you do add it for Warhammer 3, could you make it so that these units will not have a recruitment time, but instead you can add a limit amount of them instantly as if they were regiments of renowned?

This latter would honestly make a lot more sense to me, as you call forth these existing animals instantly, they don't require training. And most importantly, they would have their own role within the roster, as they could function as quick spammable units that could be recruited within a pinch everywhere on the map by any general, at a limited amount of course. How would something liket hat sound? Sort of like the blessed units for the Lizardmen?

Your wood elves mods are lovely and I regard them as essential for my wood elf playthroughs. Thank you for taking the time and care to make them so well.

I like that you have tied your animals into the red line skills. I'm curious, does this mod by chance add Drycha's Wild Spirits animals into the red line skills in a similar way? In vanilla they are untouched by the red skills, but I don't want to find a mod that does this if yours already handles it.

Hello! You really created a great mod. Every unit is lifelike. I want to ask if I can use your tiger model in my mod, I want to make the Chinese animal white tiger in my mod, I used the snow leopard model before, but they looked very inconsistent, Can I use your model? Love the mod, thanks again for sharing your time (aka "work") with the community! I have WH3 and played it for a little while, but just could not get into it. It's missing so many QoL features that WH2 has (largely in part due to people like you, modders, making the game more robust and in MANY cases... actually better/ patched).

I'll jump back in WH3 when CA provides the ME campaign and by then, modders like you will have ported their absolutely_vital QoL and feature rich works.

Seriously, people like you are the titanium foundation upon which the entire community is supported. You all do a god's work

Always felt that CA missed the bar, considerably, when the WE remake/ remaster (whatever) happened, in that, we did not get (a) more and (b) diverse animals. Maybe it had something to do with alleviating animal cruelty? Regardless, this mod is absolutely wonderful and really helps fill out the roster. I did tweak a few of the units' attributes (bear = rampage, cats = unspottable, and a few others = frenzy) simply because, real life? Idk. At any rate, I wanted to say thank you and drop some heavy points your way for taking the time to appreciate and share some more animal love into the community. Cheers and many thanks

Ah, I found it. The submod for Ferals for Drycha and Animals for Wood Elves extends landmarks for units included in this mod.

Yes- that one adds the landmarks? like the one at Kislev and Middenheim? There's definitely a landmark at Cragmere that give Lake Dragon recruitment and factionwide recruit rank for Lake dragons...

Hello there! I've been a big fan of this mod for a long time and it's felt like it's added to my wood elf playing experience immensely. ^_^

While I was reading about Naieth the Prophetess, a thought occurred to me: have you considered creating owls of some kind and adding them? It could be a cool and thematic idea.

I just updated it now. Halved the military value of each unit. Doesn't affect the player, but the AI should now recruit animals half as often
