Dont know why, but whenever I roll a rogue now, they don't have any abilities available despite having all dependencies installed

To make Blind Side work with Renamed SMGs or Long War SMG Pack - WotC (unofficial), you must edit Mitzruti's Perk Pack
Open XComIsmsRogue.ini
and under [MitzrutiPerkPack.Isms_Effect_Blindside], add this line
+Blindside_WeaponCats=Rifle
There you go...

I don’t know how to make Blindside work with SMGs, though, unless they already do. The ability text only says bullpups and vektors.

I figured out how to let Rogues use SMGs from Renamed SMGs Mod.
Simply add this line to XComClassData.ini in this mod’s config folder under another line starting with +AllowedWeapons:
+AllowedWeapons=(SlotType=eInvSlot_PrimaryWeapon, WeaponType="rifle")

Small nitpick if you wish to hear it. Changing the data internally to allow the use of rifles allows for the use of the unofficial WOTC SMG pack. Would be great if there was that option-standard ARs still have a similar statline to normal weapons.

@Mitzruti Been playing with this mod for a bit, and just recently having this issue. But any time I have a Rogue in my Squad with the "Reposition" ability, their turns do not naturally end.

sounds like, for whatever reason, the perk pack isn't updated properly for you. extra move should've been fixed in august and the not-reading-configs (for no cooldown) back in april.

you could try unsubing and resubing, or various other shenangins to get steam to redownload it.

Don't know if that was the case in original mod too, but "Gun and Run" perk does not work as stated in description. It gives you one movement action even if you miss the shot, if you hit - you get two. On top of that, it does not have any cooldown whatsoever and is really op that way. Why bother taking normal shots when you can be ultra mobile every turn? Really should have like 3 turns cd at least. Other than that, thank you for great port, I love the class ;)

There was a mod that altered turn order, but I'm 60% sure that is was something you had to set up each mission. No idea what it was called.

my rogues for some reason cannot use anything but the lowest tier of weapons for some reason. Rifles and smgs alike. Any idea as to why?

Uhm.. "Shadowborn" kinda had the opposite effect! It gave the enemies almost infinite visibility. As soon as I got into line of sight, even if it was really far away from the enemy, they spotted my soldier. The other soldier without Shadowborn didnt have this problem.

Do you have this set so the rogue is always the first character active per turn, regardless of where they are slotted? And if so, is this something that can be turned off? Gets mildly annoying when I have both a rogue and a reaper on the same mission. lol

I like this class, however it seems like the Recon ability is wildly inconsistent. I'm not sure if it's the limited cone width but there are times where an enemy was in a spot seemingly covered by the zone, only to be unrevealed. However, when watching their next movement, they clearly were in that spot.

Is the visual indicator correct? Is there anyway to maybe increase the width by a tile or 2?

@HATERADE: This actually is the LW2 version of the mod, just sans the Brigadier ranks. I was around when Isms did that first update. the entire Scout Line was new for LW2.

The abilites (and localization thereof) are in Mitzruti's Perk Pack. Rogue ability set stuff's near the bottom of the XComGame.int, but above gene mods. there's also some labels and such in MitzrutiPerkPack.int

Not too keen on making mods that depend on mods that aren't on the workshop. And haven't really looked into how LWOTC classes are set up.

Yes .. the Ghost Pack perk gives the 'wrong' additional ability in the code, Conceal, instead of Stealth (which is called Conceal in the localisation file) ... confusing yes!

I literally reported this to Mitzruti earlier on discord ;) So it'll likely be fixed and updated 'soon'

@Haywire: there's your prob. That just adds the weapon models and stats. The unofficial LW2 SMG pack still counts them as rifles, whereas the port here only gives the Rogue the Bullpup normally and SMG if it's set to its own category. The two mods Rusty just linked should help with that.

You will need a mod that changes the category of SMG's to either bullpup or SMG.. either of the below should do;

@Haywire: The problem there is more weapon classifications in your ini, I think. After all, SMGs originally counted as rifles, so if the ini was directly copied from the original, just having bullpups added, that might be why, as i believe the sMG mod gives them their own ini classification.

Not sure if this should go here or under Discussions but is there any known conflicts with other mods? I have the SMG mod but it is saying that they are not open to Rogues. Also, I had the Ghost pack but did not see a Concealment button on the action tab. (I know Phantom is a passive) She was revealed along with the rest of the squad.

Has anyone else had anything like this or is it just me?

The rogue was a stable of my vanilla LW2 runs, just having an SMG/Flanker made so much sense. I love this class.

For anyone seeing this Class for the first time, you're looking at one of the most beloved vanilla XCOM class mods finally ported to WoTC. These guys comparatively make Reapers stand out like sore thumbs when it comes to stealth when specced right.

It's good to have one of the Classics return.

Btw, for anyone wondering why Isms never did, he became a father not long before WoTC dropped, so, you know, Modding and playing XCOM kinda became less important. As it should be.
