@The UN sorry it took a while to reply. I'm planning an update to this mod that will include that functionality, though I don't have an ETA for it yet.

I think they're after more vanilla/appearance manger "tier progress"
... in which case either re-read UCR's options explanation again.. or simply drop UCR and use appearance manager
MrCloista  [author] 29 Jun @ 5:12am
Try using UC Redux, Rusty fixed a few issues with base UC.

Anybody know what mod allows some armor options to progress through unlocks? I have unrestricted customization and even enabling the option to do so isn't working.

@MrCloista I'd actually really appreciate it if it's possible to have somethings like the Hero Combat Belt C,and such in the forearm or shoulders areas, so they can be used alongside other torso gears, it's great for kitbashing, I have tried to fix it myself, to little avail, I have in fact been trying for a long while.
MrCloista  [author] 14 Jul, 2024 @ 3:33am
@Daedalus that's because a lot of cosmetics assume use of Unrestricted Customisation. Personally I use Appearance Manager so all my mods are set up for each armour not a 1 and done. If you check my workshop there is the meme cosmetics unlocks which does this for a number of other mods too.
Daedalus 13 Jul, 2024 @ 11:00pm
Love how this mod adds three tiers of armor. One of the reasons I don't like a lot of other cosmetic mods is that you lose that sense of progression through the campaign as you unlock new armor.

Small bug report::
PartType="Legs", TemplateName="FHU_Legs_F"
is missing the "DLCName=" entry, so it gets no icon.

Just finished a campaign with about 685 mods, this one included, and had no major issues! Thanks for putting this up.

Unrestricted Customization

What mod is that part/uniform manager at the top of the screens from?
NoName 23 Jun, 2021 @ 3:14pm
danke, I disabled a few of my mods and it looks fine now
MrCloista  [author] 23 Jun, 2021 @ 12:35pm
Sounds like a conflict
NoName 23 Jun, 2021 @ 11:55am
this isn't a big deal and maybe this is a problem exclusive to me but whenever I use this mod my soldiers get a glowy orange outline on their arm?
is this from a mod conflict or a bug or somethin?
MrCloista  [author] 7 May, 2021 @ 4:09pm
@SoloCross I think I actually tried that and had the same issue when I was making the mod. I'm on an xcom hiatus at the moment, but when I get back into things I'll have another look at it.
SoloCross 7 May, 2021 @ 1:40pm
Any chance you could add a version of the combat belts that goes on the thighs slot? Tried to edit the ini to do that myself but it just made the model not spawn...
RustyDios  [author] 24 Feb, 2021 @ 11:42am
Not really, you should be able to use the parts with no other dependencies.

... But you'll get them to 'mesh' better visually with one of the many 'invisible parts' mods or possibly Unrestricted Customization.
Bullet 24 Feb, 2021 @ 8:53am
This only works with specific other mods, correct?
Plusmies 13 Feb, 2021 @ 1:14pm
@MrCloista I got the mod to work. That was exactly the case. It turned out that I was missing another mod that was needed for the other to work.:steamhappy:
MrCloista  [author] 2 Feb, 2021 @ 4:31pm
@xXBroconutXx You'll need one of the various mods that add invisibler or empty parts for xcom units (I'd suggest hero units aswell). If you look in Modpocalypse : Cosmetics collection there are mods that do that very thing in there.
oXTMoneyXo 2 Feb, 2021 @ 4:27pm
I haven't seen this reported yet, it is due to this mod, I already have empty deco slots for both heros and xcom. It collides with Iridar's light & Heavy armor mod. Whenever you equip the armor and change torso, your mod for some reason auto-fills all of the body with this mod, clipping and meshing with the armor. Just wondering if there's something I can do or a way to disable that function? If not, no biggie. I enjoy your mods.
Planewalker 1 Feb, 2021 @ 4:05pm
Did indeed have only black textures; seems to be fixed now.
(need to rebuild due to other mods; will update if problem)
MrCloista  [author] 27 Jan, 2021 @ 5:35pm
@Plusmies - rebuilt, let me know if that fixes it for you.
MrCloista  [author] 27 Jan, 2021 @ 10:37am
Can occasionally happen when a mod is rebuilt and republished if the modder had other projects open (it introduces dependencies on the other mods). I'll rebuild n republish tonight aftet work to make sure no gremlins got introduced my end. In the mean time try adding my other mods to your playthrough if you don't already have them, and see if that fixes it for you.
Plusmies 27 Jan, 2021 @ 8:26am
Hey. I have a problem. The mod works just fine, but the augmented legs are black, no texture. Is there a fix for it. I re-downloaded the mod a few times without success. Yes I do have quite a few mods installed. Does it possibly cause a conflict somewhere.
MrCloista  [author] 24 Jan, 2021 @ 1:09pm
@McDoomington Tint maps can be a bit fiddly when combined with certain clothing textures, but it is something that @RustyDios and I are looking at for future updates to the mod.
Kurnn 24 Jan, 2021 @ 10:44am
Woop!
McDoomington 24 Jan, 2021 @ 3:44am
I like the kitbashed models added by this mod so that if you have a "all parts for everyone" mod you can still get something useful from it. I kind of wish there were more colourable models though, like a colourable underlay for example.
iamlegian 23 Jan, 2021 @ 8:21am
Thanks! It was doing my head in.
MrCloista  [author] 23 Jan, 2021 @ 7:55am
@lycante You need a mod that adds empty parts, https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1127014384 does what you need for xcom soldiers and https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1125697296 for faction heroes.
iamlegian 23 Jan, 2021 @ 7:13am
Sorry for the dumb question, I just bought the game and wanna use these. There is no "none" option for these items when applying them to my soldier. For example, when I add a forearm piece, all 3 options are from this mod. How do I remove the item after applying it to my soldier?
MrCloista  [author] 21 Jan, 2021 @ 4:59pm
Alternatively @Phrozehn Faction Torso Gears For All should cover what you need.
MrCloista  [author] 21 Jan, 2021 @ 12:28pm
@Phrozehn you can add entries to xcomcontent.ini for other locations for the belts etc. I didn't do this because it then means removing another part of the customisation. As for the Skirmisher harness parts, i don't like the chunky back part due to it clipping with weapons, so I would have to kitbash something to make that work. I'll consider it, but it'll come after the next mod I'm currently working on. In the mean time, I suggest using Pistol Friendly Skirmisher Decos by vehementia and adding entries with CharacterClass="Soldier" to its xcomcontent.ini to make them available to xcom.
Phrozehn 21 Jan, 2021 @ 10:49am
Love it. Would you consider doing the upper portions of the Skirmisher torso pieces as well as the belts? Would add a lot of great customization options. Also, is it possible, either for me on my own through ini edits, or for you to add the belts to other slots? Like the torso or shins slots for added customization? Would allow it to play well with other mods inthe sense that we have more choices of ocmbos.
Ufoshnik 20 Jan, 2021 @ 9:52am
I'm found. Thanks.
MrCloista  [author] 20 Jan, 2021 @ 7:43am
I'm considering doing a simple vanilla cosmetics unlock mod which would include that and stuff like the vip suits (but no added stuff like those usually get bundled with) @Peppermint Dandies so yes, but in a separate mod.
Peppermint Dandies 19 Jan, 2021 @ 8:52pm
Would you be willing to include the bare hero suit underlay option for those that don't use Unrestricted Customization mod? Very nice work regardless.
MrCloista  [author] 19 Jan, 2021 @ 5:17pm
@UfoShnik - found some typos which broke for medium armours. Fixed now.
MrCloista  [author] 19 Jan, 2021 @ 3:11pm
@Ufoshnik invisible torso or no option?
Ufoshnik 19 Jan, 2021 @ 1:28pm
I'm install mod, but no have torsos for Warden armor.
MrCloista  [author] 19 Jan, 2021 @ 12:09pm
@Rhalius non-glowing augments already exist made by @Spart117MC whose assets i used to build mine, so I won't be duplicating them out of respect for his work, which I suggest you check out. Templar Gauntlets are beyond the scope of this mod, but I may consider trying to do something with them in the future.
Swords 19 Jan, 2021 @ 11:14am
Booyakasha, this is supafly.
Rhalius 19 Jan, 2021 @ 6:27am
Looks pretty great, will you maybe also add augmented parts that don't glow, which could match with all colours?

And maybe templar gauntlets in different colours? Like red, blue and yellow? Even better if the blades coming out and the lightning matches that colour too.
Flashstriker 19 Jan, 2021 @ 1:48am
So glowy! Looks awesome!
