Just found my first one after about 16 hours of playtime with this installed. This is perfect if you like exploring and finding neat stuff.

I think I've found around 10, and half of me wants to explore more to find others instead of pursue quests. Lots of fun.

Probably found like 3 or 4 now.

Is the Loot respawning?

I've managed to find about 3 of them so far.
But I guess that's because I've been running around like a shicken wiwth it's head cut off trying to discover many new locations XD

I wonder if anyone has found all 70 yet. XD

Lol, okay. That's completely understandable (I'm actually beginning to-*aghast!*-get a little bored of Skyrim myself, so I've been downloading new mods like crazy XD. I'm actually beginning to create a brand-new mod to help up the playing experience for me.)

Are you planning on adding more chests? I noticed you hadn't updated in a while and was hoping to know when you would add more.
Anyways, nice idea! I like it when mod authors do "little" things like this, so... thank you!

Make sure you load this before your other mods. that way any higher priority mods will load after this one and overwrite any conflicting cells.

Ah - thanks for the info. I've been trying to figure that out for quite a while now. But like I said - Great Work! Well Done.

@Aravir, they are for keeping count. I tried to figure out if there was a way to add a count to the statistics screen, but I couldn't find a way.

It's a really nice idea and you've done a great job hiding them - I've only found three so far. I have only one question: what do I need the "Hidden Treasure Token" for? I got two of them by now. Are they of any gameplay use or just for keeping count of how many chests I've found already?

I had forgotten I had this mod installed when I found the 'Deftly Hidden Chest' at (omitted).

@Watto there is only one deftly hidden chest "under water". So far. I will be updating this mod sometime soon and adding some more chest.

I've found 16 outside and 1 inside so far. Unfortuantely all have been "hastily hidden". Just tell me please if any are under water, because I rarely go looking around at the bottom of lakes.

@Eviscerator , there are a few inside towns buildings and a cave here and there. But mostely 75% of them are outside I would say.

are all the chests outside?

@thedarkdiablo3 , they are hidden randomly, off the beaten path, off cliff edges, behind furniture, in rafters, etc. There are no guides to any specific chests anywhere, and that's the point.

I always enjoyed Morrowinds little hidden items

you feel proud of yourself when you find a tiny ring hidden in a area where it's barely visable lol

@Savick, although now that I think of it, there is one in a town I use an enhanced mod for too, and it's still there. So I dont think it should hurt them.

@Savick , When it comes to enhancing, I'm not sure how Skyrim loads things. Like, if it just adds any changes a mods does, then shouldnt effect anything. but if only one mod can change a cell in entirety, then you may lose one or two chests... but not all of them.

Awesome, thanks for the answers. One more quick question. I just installed a mod which enhances the small villages (Dragonsreach, Shor's Stone, etc.). Are there any chests close to or in these villages that might cause a conflict?

@Savick , khazan99 is correct, most you can only see from a very specifc angle and are off the road. Others are up out of reach and need to be navigated to. Etc.

Found my first "Hastily Hidden Chest" today whilst battling bandits - it was an unexpected surprise. Thanks for the mod!

@Savick: the chest I found was very near to a road but not easily seen from the road, so I imagine most are at least partially hidden. Good luck!

I love treasure hunting mods. I have two others but I find them a little too easy. This looks just challenging enough. I assume that you can not see a chest just by walking along the road. But you have to be off in the wilderness? I played two hours yesterday and didn't find anything but I wasn't really looking and i did a lot of fast travel to complete a quest. Today I'm going to look. Thanks for the fun.

Blue I just found my first Hastily Hidden.. It was directly next to... lol And the loot was perfectly balanced. Well done. I open it up and am like, Oh that helps nicely. Just right. I didn't feel like I wasted time opening the chest but I also didn't feel like I could call Lydia and tell her my adventuring days were done. lol. Continued success!
