Thinking of adding this to my current play through, curious what race the wandering assassin is, or if it has a chance to be any race?

Why the hell would a hitman pay 5,000 cats to join an unknown, naked homeless man?

The patch also fixes the relations requirements. And adds an option to have them bodyguard your character for 14 days if you tell them their initial price is too steep.

If you have relations -1 or less with shinobi thieves they will not speak to you

Okay I made it. So for anyone who doesn't want to be paid by the assassins when recruiting them, and also thinks they are worth a lot more money than 5-12k (more like 25-35k) then I made this patch https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?edit=true&id=2618476468

I managed to find the Dialogue options and changed them. But I cant find the actual payment part (I am newb with FCS)

They also spawn with specialist and master work armor and catun 3 katanas, so yeah.

I noticed the assassins pay me to join. Otherwise I actually don't mind having a few insta badasses. Still I would make them cost 15000c. You can easily pay 6000-10000c for a vanilla recruit with only stats between 10-20. So I think hiring a lvl 50-60 stat assassin should be between 15000-30000

Heya, your mod inspired me to make an alternative method of having Wandering Assassin friends. My version will be more of a rental service, for balance purposes. I included a link to your mod; credit where credit is due.

with the many mods i have theres only one issue with this mod if i have no money i get 5k cats and the assassin free of charge im not complaining but i assume this is a bug youd be interested in knowing about

Ya know, just wanted to say that I like this mod. It is a solid RP choice and totally fit a narrative I was playing.

@greg thx you too I can make a diffrent version of the mod if you like it just changing a few numbers so its really easy if you want me too

@greg the mod is also kind of a personal mod since i think most people play kenshi with everything on 1 for the configuration but I put the death chance up to 4 and and damage multiplication to 1.8 and also kind of modified the game with mods and personal mods to make it harder and characters die a lot and in the end of my playthrough the ones who survived are like aboslute legends to me which is a personal way I play kenshi and enjoy it

for me it's a the standard price to recruit, so in not even one hour playing at the hub i recruited a wandering assassin with 50 to all stat for 5000 cats.
you can rename this mod : start as an assassin for 5 000 cats ^^
to be more challenging and legit, raise the price really, the idea is interesting but the amount has to fit with the power of the recruit.

if you ally with the thieves the wandering assassin will come to patrol your town randomly. its the same if you ally with the floatsam ninjas. they send a patrol. UC taxes you shek rob you and HN force you to pray and keep your dirty females inside where they belong :P
