besides beeing unable to damage wolves and spiders spawned by it with a grinder i did not encounter probs with it.

Saberoids are strangly just popping out of the ground near me, and then going back underground over and over again. They're not attacking me though.

When they stop look to see if "combat phase" has started using command /MES.GESAP
That can prevent bot spawning

Hi all, i encounter a little disaggrement with this mod, i host a dedicated server on Pertam, with sand worms, and spiders, but after a while, without i understand why, they simply stop spawning... thanks for answers, and wonderfull mod!

This facilitates other mods to spawn on planets without using the planet generator

You need to use command/MES.GESAP on earth like at night to get the spawn goups to add to the blacklist.

SIMPLE QUESTION: I just want Spiders to spawn on alien planet, and NOT wolves to spawn in earthlike.

That's defined on a per creature basis.

My mod Martin the monster attacks grids as well as a tentacle blob in alien animals

Well it actually creates a MES spawn based on vanilla spawning. You can disable it this via config.

The way the description reads seems to indicate that this mod will disable all vanilla planet spawns. We then need to add back in mods to hook into MES to then allow spiders and wolves to spawn on planets. I am confused because I have spiders and wolves spawning with this mod installed, but the description indicates that should not be happening.

This mod will pull vanilla spawns from the planet definition. It's the very base function

I'm unsure it's a bug from this mod, but wolves started again to spawn after I installed this mod :'( Any solution/idea?

By default pertam only has spiders spawnig rarely. You'll need to add in a mod that controls spawnig or adds more animals

hi there, i start using this mod, but i notice that all wild life are very hard to kill, it takes more that 8 rifle magazines to take down a spider.

turrets takes almost 5 NATO boxes to kill them

Meridius, as i'm looking at each file of the mod on Visual Studio, I see nothing that relate to what the topic "How This Mod Works" describes.

Where can i see this "placeholder" or the code that makes sure MES functionality works properly?
- On "Data\Scripts\PlanetCreatureSpawner\StuffNThings.cs", only have a StuffNThings class with one method that does nothing.
- On "metadata.mod" there is nothing that i see in the XML structure that describe what you just said.

I'm trying to look over the code on how it works so i can make a few tweeks to improve my gameplay experience.

This mod is a placeholder that activates the functionality in MES when the mod ID is detected at startup.

Is only me or the mod's folder have nothing at all?
It have a single ".cs" script that only have a method returning a message. other than that, there is nothing that changes the game as the mod describes.

PCS creates automatic spawn groups for the planets based on the default settings. You should be able to see the spawn group names with command /MES.GESAP and black list those groups you don't want with the MES configuration

How can I disable day and night spawns? I'm using the mod that triggers spider spawns when meteors hit, so I can't just blacklist spiders and wolves, but I don't want them to spawn randomly like they do as default.

I added this mod to a pre-existing survival world on the Alien Planet since we wanted to spice things up. We already had Modular encounter stuff previously. Do we have to make a new game for it to work?

btw @JJNiero2000 of the mods I installed, AI Enabled is something we have in common, so I suspect that, in combination with PCS, is causing the wolf HP issue.

I'm also suffering from the huge wolf HP pool. Is changing spawning options done in the config files on the server? Or are there controls in the mod that allow an admin to change these things?

@Lhire I'm with this HP issue too, already asked about it on AiEnabled and Crew Enabled page cause it started after installing those mods, but nothing until now, i also use turrets as they kill the creatures faster, what made me suspect that maybe the rifles got weaker? Idk :se:
