Presumably it's not playing nicely with another submod you have on. The armament in this mod is fairly comparable to a Liberty by design, yes. It has significantly better ion cannons though (watch the reload times)

for some reason for me the submod didn't change the ship size, it only made it not as good, and also is it purposeful that it has less turbolasers and ion canons than an MC80 Liberty?

Shields are trivial to change, that's one number in the unit code. Weapons and health require editing the unit's hardpoints

okay, and how do you make mods like this? Cause I'm interested in making certain ships either a little bigger or a little smaller, and it would be awesome to be able to change the power of them as well

You probably have a another submod that changes text on. It has 8000 shields and 3,660 hull here.

how much hull and shields did you give it? Because for me while it is showing it as smaller the stats are listed as being the same as before

Submods don't necessarily combine well. You'll want to copy the Home One entry form New_Republic_Space_Units from my mod into the no cruiser left behind one

hmm, i use 2 other mods ("shieldpenetration" and "no cruiser left behind") with this and have the problem that the ship has your Guns but is still bigger.

The mod also rebalances the ship to be the power you'd expect for something of the new size

it's need to make smaller only a 1 variable in capital_ships.xml for a change size of a Home One. Why to make a whole mod for it?

I've deleted and reinstalled the submod, along with triple checking my load order, and it still isn't working. None of my other submods touch the home one type. What could be wrong?

It's not hard to do once, but for maintainability and compatibility with other submods, leaving the crew the same is nice. It does have the fast build time you get with other high crew ships like dreadnaught, at least

Thank you! I'm loving this submod as a NR player, but I do have one suggestion. Can you please lower the ship crew cost from 50 to something like 20 so that it doesn't cost the same number of ship crews as a Bulwark 3?

Like the description says, it is much bigger than this in the movies. Despite that, Incredible Cross Sections, the Fact File, pre-FoC EaW, and various other sources make it small. I know the sources, this is a take of several ignored in the main mod

Thanks a ton for adding this mod, I'm a personal fan of all of the Mon Calamari primary capital ships being the same size, and so I really appreciate this mod. Makes the Liberty not seem like such a tiny push-over, since now Home One is the same length!

Well, there's also the people who want to kill the NR more easily too.The movie/TR scale is there to be seen if you look closely, but there's apparently at least a few dozen people who prefer the size from the West End sourcebooks or the Fact File for whatever reason. Now they're free to have it if they want.

Been apart of the TR community for years and have never seen this issue blow up. People ask often sure but the model and statistics used in TR are the same throughout many reliable legend source material since this is a legends mod. The dispute over the size seen in the movies is horribly argued over on other sites with people listing many unreliable sources, wookipedia is one of those sources, mind you..
Never the less, literally no one wants their home one in game to be smaller or weaker unless its challenge driven.
