Managed to resolve by reinstalling daily needs... Little once still drop carapace but the regular sized once drop the meat now... What's the carapace for if you don't mind me asking?

It might be load order, otherwise it would have to be something on daily needs side as that's how it's always been handled.

That's probably because the script isn't setup to accommodate for the possibility of additional bot subtypes

i got a new discovery about the incompatibility, its a combination of three mods, this one, "Expanded Settings" and IA enable, cause i notice this doesn't happens with the spiders when spawn without this mod

Found the Problem, it has some kind of conflict with "Expanded Settings" mod, dont know why, because the mod has no changes on npc stats...

They only need 3 shots, there is something that makes this happen either it's the guns aim or the game losing track of their stats

there is a way to change the health of the spiders? they can handle more bullets than a heavy armor block

Been messing around with it all more, and like with Crew Enabled, I think that NPC Faction Names Redux was definitely behind everything weird going on. Not 100% sure, but 99%. :P

I do have a request though, if you are alright with that... A while back, I got Sektan's permission to try and adapt his Moon Sentinels to AIEnabled, but I couldn't figure it out and life got in the way. Would you consider creating a Creature Spawner mod to bring Moon Sentinels to all planets and moons? Perhaps make them more durable than normal spiders, and spawn in fairly high numbers? Normal loot would be fine, since the mechanical parts make sense for them.

Almost all of my survival playthrough time was spent using Alien Prepare to Die and Moon Sentinels, and how they look, the way they sound--really the only thing that has actually got my heart racing in SE.

You can cause friendly damage yea but you can't damage your own faction reputation by doing so, these should be in the spiders faction by default.
Unless some other mod is spawning these in a custom faction they should not target each other.

Well, I know as a player you can grind/torch/drill other players in your own faction, so if something is causing the spiders to target each other, I don't see why damage wouldn't proc.

Can confirm that spiders are spawning and killing each other on occasion. I do use a variety of plug-ins, but as there was another report of spiders killing each other, I'm doubting that's the issue. When killing any spider, they do increase reputation with SPRT as normal, so I'm guessing they are still in the SPID faction like you said. Maybe something to do with Planet Creature Spawner?

If you mean the 'Show All Players' Options in the Alt-F10 menu? I turned it on, but it doesn't seem to do anything for the spiders

Use see all characters it should give hid markers to everything. This will show if something is not in "spid" faction

Any ideas what I could check? My mods list is just the custom planet, MES, Planet Creature Spawner and Invasion of Spiders. I made a few tweaks to the MES Config-Creatures.xml to increase spawn rate and set EnableWaveSpawner = true (just wanted to see what it did)

They shouldn't attack each other they should all be the SE faction. No idea how that could happen

Hi, I've added this mod to spawn spiders on a custom world, and they are appearing fine, but they also seem to attack each other. Is there any way to prevent this? Sort of defeats the object when you just need to run away and let them kill each other. Thanks!

any MES mod that involves spiders requires the creature spawner. spiders cannot be controlled using any other behaviors so it's necessary

@Bjorn_stormcrow I had something similar happen after adding a bunch of AI mods + this one. As the author stated, that is probably the problem.

there is a chance your sandbox file has gotten filled with bot references. there is a cleaner program you can get from the AI enabled discord.

Added this mod to a server, have not seen any spiders spawn since adding it, not even the vanila ones that are supposed to spawn (rarely) on pertam.

not sure if there is something wrong with the config file or something. Invasion of wolves worked just fine.

Configuration is handled by the MES creature spawner. From there you should be able to reduce available spawns or increase the general spawn timer

Is there a config file generated anywhere in the game files / the %Appdata% folder for space engineers?

I wish I could customize how frequently the spiders attack / how many attack at once.

darn this mod is so close to want i needed. Has nice configs etc but the super small spiders and annoying and turret ai cant really aim for them
