Most people say the sounds are loud, or need fixing.

Do any of you forget Hummers are vehicles that are from 6,000 to 8,500+ pounds? (or 3 to 4+ tons)

They have HUGE engines compared to the average vehicle. So I'd say in simple, you get what you ask for. Considering the average engine in Hummers are V8s.

Seriously? I can put a hydrogen engine in a Hummer and it will be enviromentaly friendly, has lower fuel costs, and is even MOAR powerful.

At around $3.50 a gallon, the choice may soon be a Prius or nothing. At that point: 1 Optometrrists (eye doctors) will have a lot of work to do, and 2, I'll be crushing Priuses (Priusi?) with my fleet of bio-diesel Hummers and F-350s.
