Really like your AI mod . Thank you !
Do you want to port your AI mod to AOM Retold ? That would be amazing.
Disable your other mods until it works. Single out the one that didn't, then turn the rest on again.
I use it to scale the competitive levels, yes.
Before I forget later: thanks for the effort in creating this script! :D
I wonder how the support for RotG looks like. Civ choice for RotG works via AI selection, so how do I get a RotG civ with one of your AIs?
It's more the other way around: What you don't intentionally add to the code is likely not even considered by the AI.
Id like to play the campaign but with a way more difficult AI.
These are the comments that keep the modding community alive. <3

When I look back, it makes me happy to see how the project evolved. And I'm delighted when players get to improve along with it. If AoM finds a bright future with Retold, the game certainly deserves a good AI. I would be glad to make a little contribution.
Only apocalypse bot seems to make resources from nothing, but it will do so at an absolutely ridiculous rate.
- Handicap means that all units work faster. Anyone with handicap builds buildings faster, trains units faster, collects resources faster.
- Only level 9999 of Antisthenes streams free resources starting in Age2.
- Starting at the competitive levels, my ai only scales it's resource income based on how much it gathers. This is a very subtle effect, especially for the lower competitive elo levels. Eventually the effect snowballs naturally the longer the game continues. Besides that it doesn't get any additional bonuses. Compared to a normal titan ai or player with handicap it does cheat less.
When I destroy the wall bits it puts around its starter sentry towers, it keeps mindlessly re-building them around the starter tower positions... even when I already destroyed the towers, and there's nothing there but rubble...

Tested on Elo 1700.
Thank you both very much! I believe the tc issue has finally been resolved.
But let me know in case it happens again. Feedback like this really helps me a lot.
1) The AI keeps cancelling building its Town Centers... I have only tested with Antisthenes Elo 1800 & 2000 so far, but I assume this happens to all of them.
2) It starts building 4 wall pieces around its towers, but never finishes them. Or it places the unbuilt wall, sends a villager over to start building it, then immediately stops and sends that villager to do something else.
Thought I should mention them, in case you were not already aware.
A question for you:
Which of these AIs cheat with handicap, and by how much? It seems like they only cheat in some areas.
If you want to play against the Apocalypse AI specifically, you can select titan difficulty as long as you don't mix it with the other AI variants.
When set to titan difficulty, an additional effect is that all AI will build soldiers and buildings twice as fast. This, for being attached to the hardcoded handicap, cannot be replicated on other difficulty levels without adding desynch sensitive files, and by design is not intended by me, because it prevents the Elo of the other AIs from scaling correctly, if you use them. The Apocalypse AI will outspam you either way due to the amount of extra resources it has available. In any case, it fulfills its function as a boss-like opponent in team games against human players. However titan difficulty might still add some extra spice to it. I can't judge that for sure.
Have it take bad fights until home gold runs out, then keep it off all the gold on the map and it can no longer do anything except spam myth units.
I would think it entirely plausible that 100% is beatable. 1v1 basegame titan AI has definitely been done.
And if you let it play against other AI just choose "Antisthenes [GS]" - it will adjust itself.

Oh and you can play the game in multiplayer on titan and ANY Bot you choose will get the +100%
>answers by adding an Expert Bot with 80% handicap
Whatever, I'll edit it to 100% handicap myself
