It will work, but its missing new paradox icons.
You will see two different icon styles: this mod's and paradox's
Until I create new icons for the most recent patches.
Do the mod needs an update on the patch 1.16.x ?
can anyone confirm it stil works fine?
I'm assuming you mean the character traits panel. That's a mod on the character window. I don't remember what mod. There are many mods that edit that window.
However, the new expansion added 9 new interaction icons, and those icons will load in your game with the default Paradox look. You will have a menu where the majority of the icons will be this mod's, and one or two will be Paradox's. It's not the end of the world. I will eventually get to adding the new icons, but I am currently swamped and don't have the time.
Thanks for understanding
Thanks for the mod, which is of course included <3
Try it out whenever there's a new patch, and do let me know if the mod stops working entirely. It should be patch-proof though!
Have a great day!
yeah i understand what you say about paradox releasing a new expansion, i just feel like still paradox has a long way to even compare ck3 to ck2 in terms of content, things to do and really good expansions. I keep prefering to this day ck2 over ck3 till it becomes a masterpiece and beats it.
have a great day, and sorry for bothering u
With this mod in particular, there may be newly introduced interaction icons that aren't covered by the mod. I get that it might bother some people, but I currently don't have the time to keep making new icons.
I'm sure I'll get back to CK3 eventually though, once they release a good expansion pack.
As for load order, last is best. Only replaces icons, doesnt affect gameplay files. But if there's another mod that adds icons, and that mod is lower on the list, it'll load that mod's icons instead and you may get some inconsistency in style.
That's what the LITE version does (but right now, it's just modding the art style, as Paradox used their icons on all their interactions). This also adds icons to a bunch of mods I used to play with, which obviously have no icon, Paradox or otherwise.
It's just much much simpler to keep updating the LITE version, as it's only dds files that will never cause any problems with your game.
But I'll see what I can do with the full version. Maybe if I run create a script that removes the icon lines automatically, I can keep updating it. But I'm not a coder, I'm a GFX guy hehe
The benefit to removing the lines, is having truly bespoke icons for each interaction, instead of like a heart being used by 4 different ones.
this one doesnt edit game files, its gfx only.
