I would also like it as well if some of the dungeons were also on Mapel 32 (that one specifically without any Erchius stuff) and Arcana's moons
The Arcana one's feel pretty barren ^^;;

I agree a bit. But moons are boring and your mod makes them better. Maybe they just hold different liquids or have different loot it could be that small. But you could just not care and add the dungeons you’ve already made. Your mod has brought happiness to the community. This in fact was my first mod and I love it. And if you don’t wish to do it I will be fine with it (not that I can do anything) but would still feel down wish that you made a simple patch.

i'm not sure if i plan to add support for certain modded moons yet, as they tend to do their own things and i'm not sure how well my dungeons would fit. i did add support for moon overhaul, and i believe i added support for frackin's moon biomes as well, but i will probably stay away from arcane's moons unless they're just as baren as vanilla moons

i did actually have the idea to do that like. a bazillion years ago, back when i thought story rewrite wasn't an ambitious project i would never be able to complete solo. i might come back to that idea some day and actually do it

upload the image to an image hosting site - i personally use imgur since it lets you host them unlisted for free, seemingly without any time limit. then, copy the link for the image. in your steam mod's description, type:

[url=URL-TO-LINK-TO][img]IMAGE-LINK.png[/img][/url]

the size of the image affects it's appearance in the description; my header images are 600px wide, while my link images are only 250px wide.

Arcana just added a number of different moon types. It would be cool if someone could patch the default moon dungeons over to the other variants. Just leaving the idea.

you will just have to travel away from your explored part of universe, like two screens away or something - to get the new structures spawn on newly generated moons; no need to wipe the universe, old parts will stay unchanged

Can I add this mod to my existing universe? I just started a brand new universe, but already visited a vanilla moon in my starting star system. Will it work or do I need to delete the universe?

(all I have is Arcana and Shellguard)

That is a question for the FU discord. I am just telling you to try and clean up the mod collection you are using. It will help you, you might also fix your problem.

Discontinued doesn't mean not working and since FU doesn't really list what is part of it or what it absorbs, any hints which mods could be eliminated?

@MokahTGS Make a backup of your universe folder, delete the folder and it will generate a new universe, if it still crashes after this you have some kind of conflict, if it stops crashing you are missing a mod that changes generation of moons/dungeons on moons.

So reinstalling everything, flying to a moon, try to beam down and I just end up back on my ship. Cannot beam down to any moons. This is on a new game.

@MokahTGS Did you remove any mods that add world gen, dungeons, npcs or such, because to crash log points to trying to load something that is no longer part of the game/mod collection.

Awesome mod! I do like how the moons have life on them now!...

Just a minor request tho... Is it possible to make the micro dungeons um... less frequent? I almost feel like moons now have like... too much life now owo

One question, all the moons, regardless of the difficulty of the star in which they are, have a level 1 loot, always level 1 weapons etc., would it be possible to have the option (perhaps as a separate patch?) that they are "scalable"? that in systems with higher level stars you get better loot, and the enemy scales equally.

Just a thought I guess hehe

You'll need to travel to a new, unregenerate segment of the universe to find any of the dungeons, but it won't cause the game to break or anything if that's what you were worrying about.
