This little project was to duplicate the exact chambers from portal 1. Every Bug, Every multiple Solution... i copied everything. If i would change every thing what doesnt belong there it wouldnt be a copy anymore. Thanks for your feedback. And have a nice day :)

Hi, I am not so sure as the soft locks are a sign of a improper design, I have played this game for more than 1500 hours and never have I encountered a soft lock that is acceptable to the creator. There has to be a way to solve the puzzle if you are alive in the chamber, there can possibly be no stuck point whatsoever. :steambored:

Hey!
Its a duplicate from the original Portal 1 game. I have no plan to change it design. There are many softlocks in the game and many ways to solve this and the other puzzles.

I don't really need help, I could easily solve it, I was just stating that there is a potential soft lock in the design that you should take care of. :steamhappy:

Got stuck in the room with laser beam and pedestals on water while carrying the cube from previous room.

tbh hammer could give you a better way to manage things, but it has a quite round learning curve as there are few hammer tutorials theses days.

i know because you can skip the the platform part by just grabbing the cube. I dont wanted to change it, to keep your creative mind open for solutions

It feels so weird yet so right playing through familiar layouts with a new theme.
I love it!

PS for minor feedback: Its still possible to trap yourself in the first chamber of the map by portaling in both cubes.
I know you probably did your best and there may not be much you can do about it.
I just wanted to let you know, just in case.
