Just wanted to thank all of you who have played and supported this map. I've noticed this map got officially rated on the workshop recently which is a huge achievement! I can't thank you all enough for this, it warms my heart. As I continue my journey on ravenfields workshop I will try my hardest to make fun maps. I would also like to delve into unity sometime within the future to see what that engine offers. Again, Thank you all very much! I hope everyone is having a great day! :)

Attention billy yanks and johnny rebs, after 27 updates I think it's safe to say this map is complete. This map may still receive blemishing updates. However I would like to get to work on the burnside expedition of roanoke island. I understand there is a lack of civil war weaponry and I'm sorry for that. Just try to keep your heads up. There's likely things being developed as I'm typing this message. I've also heard talk about proper line formations. I would like to thank all of those who kept coming back, and those who have shown support with favorites and ratings. You guys are true patriots! The new map will be based on the depiction shown on the first image slide. Sadly, the library of congress only has one picture of the landing. As much as i'd like to throw cool old photographs at you, i can't. The roadmap has been updated with educational videos for those who are interested. I hope to see some of you at the landing. @patrickjohnson102296 i uploaded these pictures in hope that some mod creators might touch upon these very old grenades. Ketchum Hand Grenade was used by the union troops, the round ball one was used by confederate troops. in real life these grenades hardly worked. the Ketchum Hand Grenade had a pressure plate with a percussion cap as the fuse. confederates would catch these in blankets and often threw them back. these would have to be thrown with a good amount of force to actually explode. the biggest problem was the confederate grenade is when it rolled in dirt the wick would burn out. but in ravenfield, it would be pretty cool and would be a good way to change up game play.

can the 2 grenades in the pictures be modded into ravenfield please.

all AI barricades have been removed and replaced with wooden walls, allowing more natural AI movement. There's some textures which need blemishing so please pardon me for that. enjoy!

Trying to keep the roadmap interesting, the battle of roanoke island is likely a battle you've never heard of. Ambrose burnside and 12,000 of his men stormed it and took over vital confederate positions. I have a beautiful depiction of the burnside expedition landing, this can be seen on the first slide picture. I wanna thank all of you who have stayed with me thus far. You are always welcome to follow me or even work with me on some projects, I'll help with some of yours in return. You may also request map files from me if you wish to change things up according to your gameplay interest. Replication uploads of the file will result in a ban from my workshop items.

Billy yanks and Johnny rebs, i would just like to let you all know that the mg gatling gun has been added to every point. This is a temporary position on the scaffolds. It works best in point match with instant action on. Pathways have been added and additional artillery is planned. AI now has full control of the forest and fields. You should also be able to play with 150 to 250 bots with a smooth fps. Furthermore, for those of you who own the program vorpX, the game runs beautifully in vr and makes things much more entertaining! You have run the game in direct x9 for this to work. You will find ravenfield in your vorpx under the cloud files, you just have to search for it. Development of this map will slow down in march.

@King_creepaLot Thank you friend, if it wasn't for some of your workshop items i probably wouldn't be making these maps today. You and your team have truly made Ravenfield a unique experience and I cannot praise you and your team enough for that.

I've had intentions of doing a Native American skin pack for a while, but it'd probably be a long ways off from now

@cubanarmy1970s It would be a nice addition. There have been several native american battalions during the civil war. Approximately 40,000 natives fought in the civil war. However modding isn't my specialty, if i ever do get into it though i will definitely be working on choctaw skins.
