Do you remember what the default value for the following lines are? I want to tone it down a little to something like 25%. Everything else has default value listed except the two below.

UPDATE ModifierArguments SET Extra = -3 WHERE ModifierId = 'STANDARD_DIPLOMACY_RANDOM' AND Name = 'DifficultyOffset';

UPDATE ModifierArguments SET Value = 5 WHERE ModifierId = 'STANDARD_DIPLOMACY_RANDOM' AND Name = 'ReductionTurns';

The AI attack logic seems kind of strange, and cant really figure out what controls it. Sometimes AI has lots of units and wont attack, other times it does attack and do surprise wars. I definitely see it way more with my changes, but later era AIs are a little to reluctant to attack in my humble opinion. But again you can always attack them. :)

I tried your AI Booster mod but even with a map full of army the AI just left me alone. Could all the units that the AI is producing actually hinder economic development by any chance? Anyways I'll try this mod instead to see if I can finally get the AI to invade me

No sure, I think these modifiers are loaded when you start a game so dont think it works on saved games

Excited to try this. All my games so far everyone just gets a long and nothing happens, its boring af i dont get it. Hope this helps. Does it working with existing saves by any chance?

I am going to hold off to boost it, I wish it could be difficulty based. As my game on immortal looks like this. Picture added. War constantly and a few alliances, Mongols just ran over me with a surprise war. The AI seem to prefer attacking each other over the human, might be something Firaxis did intentionally. That said I been fairly civil in this game.

It's working :) ... in my taste the penalties could be 60/75 % more negative ... Even with this mod enabled i have friends all over the place :(

I think its compatible, those mods should not change diplomacy values.

Yeah - it's working lol - they mad.

compatible with real strategy or AI+ ?

You should see a minus penalty on first contact that's in the -12 to -13 range on immortal then you know its working and some instant denouncement from some AI. Also its 50% so should not be crazy and only if there is something they don't like. And the initial will drop over time so its still possible to get one or two friends.

Didn't notice a change in my first play with it. I was doing everything I could to make them mad lol. Mod shows as working in the list when running a game and I tried to make sure no other similar mods were affecting it but I don't know. Something might be conflicting with it - I use a lot of mods. Playing on GS, RnF, and Aztec DLC only

Yes the relations effect is not based on level, but the first contact penalty will not apply as there is no penalty on prince to increase.
Bad Apple Banzai 3 feb 2021 om 8:23
Do the penalties also apply to prince level?
