Could you make this for the Vampires as well? I hate the that they turn the whole world to ash as they take over lands. And your snow effect is wonderful 2 Thumbs UP!

Time to go on one final hunt as Wulfrik and freeze the world in ice.

Is there some setting in graphic or something I should be looking at to make this fully work? The mod is working for the circle of settlements and the chaos tumors that appear . Those are white. But the terrain around it is still grey. This is around Ancient City of Quitex which starts ME with 100% corruption so I'd expect it to be white snow everywhere.

I had the same problem. I fixed it by resubbing through steam, then launching the vanilla WH2 launcher, going to the mod manager tab and clicking the trash can icon. It unsubbed it and deleted it.

This mod...does not seem to want to turn off. Even removed from the data directory, unsubbed, deleted from the workshop directory, I am still stuck with Winter in my games.
It's fun for some playthroughs, but in others...not so much.

Does this module still work？

Unfortunately, there are a handful of battlemaps in the game that don't appear to properly apply corruption effects. These maps are also broken with vanilla corruption effects. I have tried everything, but am unable to fix these maps.

As for the movement reduction, I opted not to change stats and numbers in an attempt to make the mod more compatible with others.

So I’m playing as khazrak in tilea and there’s like 60% corruption. The campaign map changes but the battle map is still normal. Also would be awesome if there was a campaign movement reduction for non chaos armies treading through chaos territory due to harsh winter conditions. Maybe like a 10% reduction?

Astounding you made campaign and battle map transformations and effects. Maybe you could do something similar for vampire and skaven corruption? Vamps could have more dark clouds and corrupted ground and battle map could be dark and raining with terrain effects. Skaven campaign could have cracks and tears in the earth with warpstone and battlemaps could be something similar.

This looks great. Playing as the Beastmen for example, you kinda feel like the White Walkers from A Song of Ice and Fire, spreading Winter everywhere you go.

Gonna slap this on for my Heralds Vortex campaign, to give myself something other than grey to look at in the Bloodgrounds that used to be Dark Elf lands lol

It would be nice for the undead.

Any chance you could make a more beastmen appropriate version? Im not too sure what that would look like but it just doesnt quite gel with the beastmen like it does for norsca and CW you know? Great mod though :D

update? Think its crashing my game. Might make sense since beast man update might of had a change to their corruption. I cant test it either because it if I turn the mod off I think youre unable to load your save anyway. I tried and it still crashed but I remember my vampire corruption change mod not being able to load without it being enabled, assuming its the same with this one. BTW This mod is bad ass man, thank you!

for some reason this mod crashes my game, it was working yesterday before mod's update with all the other mods

Had same issue with eldiabs, last game was working last night.

I do believe the last update to this mod broke it. Not the last game update, but the last update to this specific mod. Worked earlier today. Now game is crashing at around 1/3 - 1/2 load point on old saves or new games. Went through the unsub/sub delete data routine in case of corrupt sub but it still happened.

Cool mod btw. The winter corruption is way cooler IMO. Thanks for the work you put into this.
