Sorry, I guess didn't make it clear. Reinforced Walls didn't get updated, someone else made their own continued version called Reinforced Walls+. If you don't want to make one for that and just prefer to wait and see if the original gets updated, that's fine, I was just curious

With the original Reinforced Walls mod being replaced by Reinforced Walls+ for 1.4, are you planning to update or make a separate version of this mod for it?

Hi. Cool mod, but there's a slight bug in patching the bomb resistance. Trying to patch a base def (i.e. the WDReinforcedDoorBase in this case) of another mod won't work, and it will also produce an error in the debug log if you comment out the <success>Always</success> line in Bomb_Resist_Doors.xml.

You have to patch the door and autodoor ThingDefs individually for it to work. I just tested it as well to make sure, using these 3 mods. First with your code, and then with my own modification that patches the door ThingDefs individually instead. Only the latter one halved the explosion damage.

@Rainoa: none of my patches affect wall hp, solely the required tech, bomb resistance, and descriptions. It's probably something else. This is a super simple xml patch.

i gave this a try randomally and i ahve been notice alot when i load a save my settings for reinforced walls i think default is 900 i set mine to 1000
i have noticed the HP of my walls when i reload a save will be 1000/900 for examlpe....
and if i dont catch this anything new built for examlpe is 900/900

BUT if i go into settings look at settings it will show its still set to 1000...
close look again all walls are now 900/1000 and need to be repaired

so seems to be some strange bug im getting that the settings dont stick, and i have to go into settings menu each time i load a save to make settings click

i never noticed this till sometime after adding this one to the mix so, wondering if its known issue or someone confirm? or something?

Might be out-of-scope, but it's worth pointing out that "DDA Security and More" has *really* excellent 'reinforced walls' that I much prefer (great, vanilla-looking but still stand-out, art; and a slightly-more-complicated-but-not-absurd process for building them that trades off their high hitpoints).

Any chance of having this patcher detect whether "Reinforced Walls" or "DDA Security" are installed, and move "Reinforced Doors" into the appropriate tech instead? Ditto coilguns?
