By the way google did a good translation this time. But here are some native's suggestions.
1. 寺の影 (you don't need to put 院 to mean temple.)
2. 寺院の陰(影 is a literal shadow. 陰 has more philosophical or metaphorical mean, same as Chinese "Yin")
3. 寺社の陰(you put the gate thing⛩ so this is technically a Buddhist temple/Shintoism shrine. In this time 寺社 is a proper term for this set of buildings.)
