My mod Colorful Coats - Vanilla Animals Expanded (linked in the description if you need it) has been updated to include the cats and dogs in what is now the core mod from VAE. Use that mod for 1.4 and VAE Core!

Thank you so much for being willing to update this to 1.4. It means a lot to be able to put my cat (ginger Maine Coon) in game. He's the OP hauler. You're recolors make the game so much more meaningful.

Hey! This is a personal request, but I was wondering if you could add some color variations for the Great Dane? Such as a black coat, or a black with white-spotted coat (& the opposite ofc). It's okay if you are not able to! The idea just came to mind because, as of a few days ago, I bought my second Great Dane pup (black & female) the day before the 1 year of the passing of my first Great Dane who also had a black coat but was a male. :) Thank you in advanced if you read my suggestion, and even more-so if my suggestion becomes a feature in a future patch.

This mod only adds more colors to VAE Cats and Dogs, so you still need Animal Variety Coats if you want recolors of vanilla animals.

Yup, you can use both no problem!

This textures look too nice not to be in my next game.
