pretty solid character but i cannot bring myself to use her because it looks like she is at 280p and too big. It hurts my soul to put her next to other characters because she stands out so much.

I like this class, but is her model supposed to be that big? Especially her head, it's twice as big as other characters'. Would be nice if you find the time to scale it down for a little bit.

Though its not so overtly over-powered to actually make the game "easy", but it's something that tends to make missions she's in always feel far more under-control than they otherwise would

My suggestion for balance would be to lower her damage somewhat and make her a bit more of a dedicate anti-niche dps. Like have Shelling and Practiced Shot do less raw damage, however make PS have more armor pen. Additionally, make Muzzle Flash no longer destealth, it still bypasses it and does bonus against stealthed enemies, but if the foe survives they wont be easy pray for a random vestal mindamage roll either

Regardless, I really love the mod, and glad to see a good Slavic inspired character in the mod workshop

I'm really loving this mod. I have Russian heretage, so the instant I saw the name I knew exactly what kind of character Id be in for. It's really nice to have a DPS unit for the backline that doesnt rely on marks like the Arbalist, while also not being as selfish as the Grave Robber. While I think her utility skills aren't as strong since other heroes can do the Utility/DPS hybrid role better I still find Motherly Care to be extremely helpful. Her low speed lets her often go after most other units making it great for getting allies off Death's Door, while the stress healing is very useful in a pinch

Genuinely the only negative feedback I have is that she feels a bit too strong overall, having both extremely high armor-piercing damage, excellent anti-stealth ability, party utility and also both high HP and dodge. Her stats are fairly similar to the Man at Arms, which I'd imagine was your inspiration given she's a similar "old but experienced" fighter

I am enjoying this class a lot. I also like the artwork style which I think matches vanilla nicely. One suggestion, however, is to make her sprite 10-15% smaller. She appears to be larger than all other classes and also looks a bit blurry. Shrinking her sprite a bit would make her blend in 100%.

Love this. Been having a ton of fun using her in an all gun party with Musketeer, Commandant and Assaulter.

Another good backline attacker with a heal and some special hate for stealthy foes. Her flavour is good and camping skills tend to help a lot with surviving the dungeon.

Russian localization

class is somewhat decent, but just not fun, Is she a healer? Then its awkward to always be guarding. Is she a dps? Why she has heals then? Whats the point of her buff? ugly visuals too. 5\10

Some of her camping skills haven't been working for me. The Rest for the Weary and Double Stitch ones, at least.

As Czech i find this quite amusing mod :D , "Velmi zábavné" and vote up for @Zorlond , i just realised after like 5minutes of thinking that to english speakers, in Babička the middle part of word sound just purely like a curse for female person

only problem I see is the image for the "Son's ammuntion" trinket is for modern day ammo instead of the balls and a bit of powder they used back then. Just a minor minor pet peeve.

Honestly well done joke lol, my keyboard doesn't have the "č" character on it, so I have to copy and paste it any time I want to spell the name more properly. It's tedious but I did so for all of the important instances of it, but its easier to just spell it Babicka otherwise, such as when messaging.

Nice to know that the author embraces the various point of views. Well, that's right and I must admit, that this character's gameplay is enjoyable, so little "mehs" from one or another shouldn't shadow the overall feel of the creation. Keep up the creative work and I'm looking forward to see more from y'all. :)

If it bothers you that much, then it's alright not to use it, I know many people can be particular about the art in mods. However DD proportions vary wildly, and while yes her head is very large, I think there's plenty of examples of characters with strangely large or small body parts. It's not so drastic in my opinion to be worth trying to resize it in all of her sprites for both skins, and has no bearing on the classes actual performance.

The topic is closed, but still, her head is way too huge compared to other characters, even bulky ones.

Yes I did notice her proportions for her head is a little oversized, but only after all of her art and animations were implemented in-game. It wasn't so severe as to be worth changing in my opinion after that fact, and the proportions of heroes do vary noticeably even in base game. I am however glad that there seems to be a general concensus of balance for the class!

Very great mod. Good balance with my party setup, and not overpowered. My one complaint is more of an aesthetic issue, and that is that her head seems a little too big. Compared to the Crusader, her head is as big, if not bigger, than the Crusader's helmeted head. Other than that, no issues with the character.
