This mod collides with Starburst Rework cause add non-Many Tabs tabs to the mech part crafting station, It works perfectly dine on other mech crating tables like more outpost and elithian races.

It's still impossible for this mod specifically to damage item records. Mech Overhaul can if installed alongside any other mods that affect mech items, but that's not the fault of this mod.
LevelZerro 5 May, 2024 @ 4:18pm
No frackin. just stating what i saw with testing.

@LevelZerro
This mod literally cannot do that. This mod only affects UI elements. The only way to turn items into PGIs is if it affects items. If you installed Mech Overhaul when you shouldn't have, such as alongside FU, then that is your issue. But this mod cannot, in any way, affect items themselves.
LevelZerro 5 May, 2024 @ 12:56pm
Been reading through the comments and I'm having the same issues. Installing this mod turned craftable items into generic cubes, and super jumbles the ui. uninstalling fixed them both.

absolutely. I will give it a go. Thanks!

Normally, when you install Mech Overhaul and Many Tabs, the mobule tab remains in its old position; it's accessible, but floating in a broken position. This mod moves the tab to the column created by Many Tabs. It can't break your game, so if you think it will help then try it.

I'm not going to provide support for other mods. That's what individual mod pages and the forum are for.

I'm just brainstorming and not wanting to leave out any info so I can find a proper solution is all.
KatanaDrama 4 Nov, 2022 @ 4:23am
Cause I'm not getting any response from anyone else so figured I would ask someone with a similar mod. Can this mod be a solution? It looks like a decent mod but not sure i need it. You must have some knowledge on this.
Azure Fang  [author] 4 Nov, 2022 @ 2:55am
I'm having a hard time understanding what you're asking.

Do you even have this mod installed? Your last comment sounds like you haven't even installed it.
Why are you asking for help with Quickbar Mini and Stardust Core Lite here rather than on their respective mod pages?
KatanaDrama 4 Nov, 2022 @ 2:47am
Any solutions or help would be greatly appreciated.

I am trying to get the module tab to open up in the 'mech parts crafting" in the (mechoverhaul) mod and its not appearing. I do see other tabs for other mech parts crafting. I do see the available expansion slot to add the modules in the "mech assembly station". But have no way to access or craft the modules. I am receiving the module blueprints but don't have a tab to craft them. I'm assuming its cause I am not using (quick bar mini deprecated) and instead using (stardust core lite).

I have mods that require (stardust core lite) to work but in the description of (quick bar mini deprecated) says I cant use both (stardust core lite) and (quick bar mini deprecated). Do you know of anything that I can do? Can I uninstall (stardust core lite) and install (quick bar mini deprecated) without any issues?

I do see a (mech overhaul many tabs patch) and wondering if I can work that in. Can I uninstall (stardust core lite) and install (quick bar mini deprecated) without causing any issues?

Ah. You are correct, my apologies there. When I see anything related to FU I recoil because it is a compatibility nightmare. A little hard to parse with the well over 1000 error messages you have in your logs from other mods. Lets start parsing things out:

Better Shield Drones! - Broken, has been for years, conflicts with almost every mech mod in existence because the author wholesale replaced core assets. An unofficial "fixed" version exists on the workshop. This is likely breaking Mech Overhaul and causing your problems.

Whatever is messing with the 3d printer = Jesus christ, even in your unsub'd log that's throwing literally over 1000 errors. Example:
Could not load recipe /recipes/thefrankenweenietrio/tfwt3dprinter/humanbox.recipe: (ItemException) No such item 'humanbox'

Nowhere in the logs do I see THIS MOD, Mech Overhaul: Many Tabs Patch, breaking anything. I reiterate, it literally can't. Mech Overhaul can, and I suspect is. But THIS MOD CAN'T.

FU isn't in my mod list though I have several that are supposed to be compatible.
Azure Fang  [author] 23 Oct, 2022 @ 9:06pm
You are trying to use Mech Overhaul with FU. It states on the Mech Overhaul page NOT to use it with FU, and this page clearly states that it is NOT for the FU-integrated version of Mech Overhaul.

This mod is not breaking your game, as I previously stated. Mech Overhaul, as subscribed from the workshop, is breaking FU. Please read mod pages before you subscribe.

No, I need the whole log. If your log is THAT BIG, you have an insane number of mods, an insane number of errors, or both. You can also just use a file share site like Anonfiles which cares only about filesize rather than length.
Queensarrow 27 Sep, 2022 @ 10:04pm
Pastebin is telling me that the whole log is too big, is there a certain section that you need?
Azure Fang  [author] 17 Sep, 2022 @ 10:24am
Yeah, by you giving it to me via any number of services, like pastebin. But the issues you are having are NOT caused by this mod. This mod touches no vanilla assets and cannot affect items or the mech system. It only targets files created by Mech Overhaul.
Queensarrow 17 Sep, 2022 @ 9:31am
Do you have some way of getting a copy of my logs?
Azure Fang  [author] 14 Sep, 2022 @ 9:33pm
No, it doesn't. It literally cannot remove anything from the game the way it is built. The most it could possibly do is prevent new tabs that are not handled by Many Tabs from rendering; it does not affect anything other than UI elements, so it cannot cause PGIs or render mech builds as incomplete.
Queensarrow 14 Sep, 2022 @ 7:16pm
So, this mod seems to remove mech parts from the game. When I try to craft something from the mech table all the items show up as Perfectly Generic Item and crashes when I actually try to make something. The only items that show up as normal are the module slot expansion. Also the mech assembly table is showing me an incomplete build. I can put the slot expansions in but not anything else. Also mech mods are also affected (shellguard in this case).
Azure Fang  [author] 1 Aug, 2021 @ 2:52pm
Then give me a log from when the issue happened.
Fahrenade 1 Aug, 2021 @ 2:52pm
Yet, I removed this mod and only this mod and I got my mechs back
Azure Fang  [author] 1 Aug, 2021 @ 2:50pm
The only file patched by this mod is a UI config. If anything were to go wrong, the only thing this mod would cause is loss of tab functionality in the UI. That's it.
Azure Fang  [author] 1 Aug, 2021 @ 2:49pm
No. It literally cannot. It does not affect any files, at all, that would affect any of the systems related to your problem.
Fahrenade 1 Aug, 2021 @ 2:36pm
You say it is impossible, but maybe it is clashing silently (no log errors) with other mods. All my characters' mechs lost the ability to fly and the fuel bar got visually glitched, even the light module function broke (essentially, no mech overhaul). It started working again after I uninstalled this mod.
Azure Fang  [author] 1 Aug, 2021 @ 1:36pm
It is literally impossible for this mod to cause those issues.
Fahrenade 1 Aug, 2021 @ 1:33pm
I installed it and all the functions of Mech Overhaul stopped working, mainly: no flight mode on planets, fuel system not working (I could load the fuel in the mech screen, but it wasn't working)
Syvanfórn 29 Jul, 2021 @ 1:51am
In that case I will keep testing and keep you informed
Azure Fang  [author] 29 Jul, 2021 @ 1:06am
This mod does not patch any items and cannot, in any possible way, cause them to become PGIs. The only file patched by this mod is craftingmech.config, which controls UI placement.
Syvanfórn 29 Jul, 2021 @ 12:32am
Hi, I installed this patch two days ago and yesterday found all my mech parts were replaced with perfectly generic items, making the mech system completely unusable.
I uninstalled this patch now and all is working fine again.

I read your description and wasn't under the impression that any of my previously installed mods (aside from many tabs) added any extra tabs to the mech station, but perhaps I was mistaken.
