Decent foothold. Very good work on the puzzles and most of the map design. Dark Cave has a few askew tiles.
Nice that there's original artwork, semi decent stuff, would like more variety in the future.
Writing... is off. Mostly just pointing out the cliches instead of mocking them and jokes that don't really make sense in context. Might just be difference in taste but, I think this could do with more work.
Battling is annoying. Pinky got me in a 20 turn loop of sleeping and buffing itself. Poison is OP and fighting alone and relying on inventory that's not massively helpful isn't fun. Hope for a party if this is ever finished.
Music choices are fine. Only gripe is no boss battle music.
Overall, it's an ok start, needs time to improve.
