good animations.. but what's the sense in having the mag trying to be put ontop on the equip animation?

The thing about the AK Bolt, you could possibly make so the left hand slides down and the thumb pushes back the bolt and hold it then release it after the mag gets in. Which means it makes sense on the AK platform and you could have an awesome, heavy bolt travel and close sound aswell.

If you would like to do that, it might make the reload cooler but you will also end all the comments about the reload with the closed bolt doesn't make sense.

Just wanted to give you that idea :) , and good job with the really nice and fluid animation. Awesome work :steamthumbsup:.

I really do hope you continue the Overly Cool series. It's some of the most impressive animation work on the workshop and I'd hate to see it go. I'd love to see you do more animations for different guns and possibly even Melee Weapons as well, seeing as how those are lacking cool animations ,too; But, whatever you decide to do, just know that I appreciate your work and talent.

If I had the skills or knowledge of video game animation, I’d probably finish this series for you. But obviously I don’t and I guess I consider myself a huge fan of yours, so all I can do is provide my own suggestions I suppose. If I end up making anyone cringe with my ideas because I’ll be the first to admit I know next to nothing about guns, how they work or whatever technical aspect but I am a huge fan of first-person shooters. So yeah, just going to get my dude-bro status out of the way but anyways

G3 – dual wield glock with fully auto matic AR, idk M4A1 I guess. Something someone can shoot from the hip.

This one might be the most complicated to make and explain, but it’s my idea because I pretty much saw the CSGO assault rifle port as essentially an AR that shoots faster than all the others. In my personal time of using this thing, I feel like it’s one of the better tank killers. An AR that does a lot of damage, due to its extremely fast fire rate but long reload time. Would make sense for something of the Dual wield sort eh?

When the character has to reload, he’ll drop both mags from the glock and Rifle. He’ll then place a single bullet in the glock, then toss a single magazine straight up into the air. The character then aims the glock at the bottom edge of the magazine as it falls and fires at it hitting the magazine to spin towards him. The character quickly pulls his rifle straight up to have the magazine land firm in its socket and the character squeezes the magazine (in its socket) and the rifle between his hand and the front of his shoulder locking it into place.
He then lowers the rifle into firing position. Lowers the glock out of view, throws a glock magazine into the air similar to your pistol reload, and the character slams the glock gun into the side button of the rifle with the magazine in the middle.

SKS, or any weapon I guess that reloads like it. Like maybe a M1 Grand or whatever (Hunting rifle).
Weapon pullout. Character throws a bullet into the air; it flips and he/she slams it down into the gun’s cartridge. The gun shows up abruptly in this process.
When reloading, the character will pull out the magazine, put the necessary bullets into it. Then twirl it into the air, followed by the character holding the gun by the barrel then swinging the gun into it like a baseball bat. (it would make more sense if the character had his left hand up so he would have something to slam the magazine into, since using friction alone doesn’t seem practical.) I guess you could also have him pull the bolt and load the thing twirling it back into firing position.

It’s already cool to spin a Winchester, yeah, I know you already did a flip sniper rifle for the scout. It probably seems impractical to flip a long barrel anyways especially if it has a scope, so I thought what if the character held the weapon above his head and instead of holding the gun straight, he held it sideways.
That way when he fires it the recoil will force him to instead twirl the gun above his head rather than flipping it. Seems like a super in accurate way to fire it, you might as well animate the dude firing the gun from between his legs but ya know. In my mind this seemed like a cool idea.

Auto shotgun, MTs255 Revolver Shotgun, or S&W magnum revolver.
I know it is a little stupid to make a magnum fire a shotgun shell, why not just make it the DE? Well in the continuity of things, you can fire shotgun shells out of a Magnum revolver, and it would make sense for the reload as well, but if that’s too farfetched for you then yeah.
Cowboy style, the character could hold the revolver with his left hand above the hammer (Idk what it’s called, the thingy on the opposite end of the barrel.)

Starting animation; he’ll throw the revolver in the air spinning it around slow enough for a single time, it is a heavy gun after all. You could make the character grab it with both hands with a bit of leverage to signify its weight. Or maybe he’ll just catch it with one hand but the gun is so heavy that he has to let it drop a bit forward signifying the weight before he gets a better grip and lifts it up again with his other hand. (original enough from your single / dual pistol animations I hope.)

Reloading, Character opens the revolving cylinder with one hand, he’ll then throw shotgun shells straight up into the air and like a ninja he’ll perfectly slide his gun sideways fitting the bullet straight into its slot. Sort of this slamming effect fruit ninja type stuff where he reloads each shell like this.
As for the revolving shotgun (MTs255), I guess make him hold the weapon like Ash from evil dead. His left-hand sideways Call of duty MW2 tactical knife pistol esc type of thing? He holds a flash light with his left hand, but his front arm is horizontal to him and he rests the gun on top of it.
He can reload it similar to Rex power colt from far cry blood dragon, he just opens the gun, and throws the shell in the air twirling and have them land perfectly into their slots
Or you can just go with a regular spaz / Benelli / shotgun of your choice and do the same thing, have the character twirl the shells in the air throwing them into their slot of the gun loader.

Maybe Dual wielding Machine Guns? Sniper Rifle held single-handed and tilted almost 90 degrees Gangsta-style? Heavy Assault Rifle in one hand, continuous chain of ammo in the other like Rambo? Shockwave Shotgun?

Looks great and has huge potential but it needs more polishing,the animations look rough and you can notice mags teleporting everywhere on the screen even at the normal ingame speed or even faster,if you use console commands to slow down the game you can clearly see the mags teleportation issues,animating is hard AF so as a user of mods and maker of mods(so a small extent) i truely appreciate the work you put in this,so this is constructive criticism when i say that this needs a hell of alot more polishing in order to be as good and compareable with the other mods form the Overly Cool Animation collection,the DEagle has the same problem too but its way way less noticeable

Honestly it is possible, yet a very ludicrously small chance, that an empty mag can rack a bolt from falling. Albeit the height would have to be from at maybe least a three story building and the mag would have to have some speed beforehand. So there is a possible possibility.

This may be the only Overly Cool Animation I don't really like
The model isn't really my style, and I feel a lack of weight to the shooting
I think it is due to the sounds you used

However, credit where credit is due, your animation is still amazing, and I love how much you play around with certain concepts, like using the empty mag to pull the bolt
I adore your creativity, and it shows how good you are as a creator that your latest release is as good as, if not better than your very first one
