I have an issue where it says in my mod folder to "restart to load" even though I've closed and re-launched the game. Does anyone have an idea as to how to help me?

Great mod. The one thing I wish was different is that trees don't block construction anymore, I really wish they still did.

Has anyone else had a bug with this mod that means the "Build your Keep near fertile land, trees, and stone." message never goes away. I'm pretty sure its this mod, and wanted confirmation as it really tanks performance for some reason and makes the game nearly unplayable on my potato pc. Thnx :-)

Super appreciate this move anything mod. I was getting bleh about the ugly way to expand with.. idk, 10 taverns and 6 grain sheds for only 500 people? The base game is kinda goofy with that. Now I can stack buildings and make my city look nice and neat. Thanks!

ps : i support the option to have a key bind to activate deactivate the "nolimitations" at ease so you can avoid dumb placing or just anxious placing of building ! And just allowing also more customisation of the mod like applying the effect to only certains building or exclude some from it (if it's possible off course).

note tho before using this mode i never tought or saw that house have a malus for no being close to a road tile.

Also is it because of this mod that im able to "babel" build any towers wtihout any
"structure support or limitation" ?

Also the problem isn't that we can't build on the deep water tbh the problem is that there is not enought shalow water and no way to increase it or no mod at the moment + the fact that there isn't that much things to do or to interat with water or deep water anyway :( sadly maybe one day it will be expanded and opened ? More content is always good i wonder if they think about stretching it a bit like new ennemies and units etc ... and so new difficulties implementing good ideas and mod into the default game too !

@Zak @The Vagrant building on deep water is not possible without huge effort and rebuilding half the game. Thats the reason i will never add it.

Would we ever be able to build on deepwater? Or atleast bridges? I can understand if thats a technical problem but if we were ever able to that would be so awesome

I wish we could build on deep water, there's this island really close to my town and I wanted to build a bridge to it.

Sorry I find the bug, it's not your fault.
But just one thing : you should make a shortcut to activate and disactivate the free placement. It would be useful to prevent placing two building of the same type at the same place.

Buldings that are already placed with this mod wont dissapear but you wont be able to build any new ones in places the base game wont allow. @Domino

Alr so I just checked today I unsubscribed from pretty roads reloaded the client and I cant place bridges or piers on deep water still although I can build, buildings inside buildings still which is the main reaosn I wanted this

Love this mod, I've always hated how vanilla buildings like the cathedral and keep have extra space around the building.

@bobbyboobab Im not quite sure what you mean with effect on the saves.
If you mean already build buildings wont disappear:
Unsubscribing wont delete the buildings you already build with the mod. It will only prevent you from building new buildings in locations the mod allows. If you want to get rid of old buildings you can simply destroy them.
If you mean that you can still place buildings everywhere even after deinstalling the mod:
You need to restart the game once after deinstalling the mod to make the change. If the problems still occurs even after restarting the game please msg me again.

i tried it and didnt like it (no offense but this is the first mod i tried and i just like the vanilla game better) but ive unsubscribed and it still has effect on my save what do i do please help

I have an older version, I havent updated yet so I have no way to test it. One thing you should do is allow things to be stacked on top of castle walls, they are much easier to hide if you want to stack something like houses. The stairs will just blend in to the structure. If nobody has the jobs issue the dev must have integrated the new code into the last update

i did not edit the saving process in any kind. I edited the code of placing new buildings. If you have loading problems/ the duplikation glitch you mentioned with the current mod let me now.
If you wanna discuss the coding part deeper msg in the discord because i dont want to spam the comments here.

the reason I didnt release this as a mod is I was told by somebody with much more skill than me that the modding api did not support this, I assumed he meant the saving part, as the actual change that allows building stacking is quite easy (its only 1 value). If this does not cause the duplication glitch id love to see the code and work with you as I have made other cool changes that enhance building stacking.

did you edit the saving system in your mod? It doesnt cause an error or crash, if you place a building that is more than 1x1 tiles on walls, it will duplicate the building by the number of tiles it is. So a church that is 2x3 will be duplicated 6 times. After saving with this mod, load the game and look at your jobs. Now I did this on an older version and the code that the dev game me may be already incorporated into the newer version. However I dont think it is as I recently talked to the dev about adding this into the base game
