I was thinking of giving this map a bit of a revamp, possibly scrapping and replacing one of the holes all together.
If you read back through my comments you'll see that the idea to stop jumping on some holes was suggested by another player.
I want to keep some of the challenge to the holes that can be easily cheesed by jumping. However I feel I can do better then just throwing up a few invisible death walls.
I'll update (hopefully with a few improvements) when I have time.
Thanks for your comment and if you like jumping, I have another map designed for jumping.
Could you be a little more specific, did you come across a glitch, do you think the pars need a tweak?
I have already played your other maps and they are amazing, all of them (journey to rainbow is the first map I played after the official ones, and I played it over and over again).
I also used editor so I can understand how much work it takes to make this map with this level of detail, both aesthetically and mechanically (for example, using the “floor” instead of the “tiles” in the holes 8-10-13 to prevent cutting the path with the jump, all the tricks and decorations…).
Well done
Thank you, I'm glad you liked it.
These maps can take a long time to make and zooming out on the the free cam you can see why. I plan on updating this map in a few weeks to work out some kinks (I'm looking at you hole 15). I'll also do what you suggested.
I always say this but, if you have time, check out my other maps, there's a link to the collection on this page.
Thanks again for such a thoughtful comment.
I can see the love in the realization of the map, and you built something that is not only enjoyable to play, but also to see! After I played this map with friends, I played again only to use free camera and explore your map. I think that your map is an example for everyone approaching the editor, and deserves more rating.
I also liked that every hole has a different setting; I only suggest you to make the “jump shortcut” impossible in holes 3-5-11, but this is only my opinion.
Great job.
You want more? I can do you more, I've made 3 other levels:
"Journey to Rainbow Road"
"Remaster"
"Super Puzzle Golf"
You can also find them in the "Fun, Beauty, Brains & ...More" Collection;)
