and tbh, last time i updated the mod was... basically a miracle. I had no idea how to do it yet somehow it worked. I dont think i can pull that one again and even then i would have to hunt down the source code cuz i had a hard drive failure last year.

thats odd, while im sure its possible for them to spawn without the sight, i dont think its normal for it to go away. Covie components should be on the fabrication bench.

Did something happen recently to negate the Jackal vision? I have two Jackal colonists and both of them have lost their Kig-Yar Sight.

also, I cannot for, the life of me, find where the covenant component is built.

Needing a surgery to remove the condition was the original plan. I honestly dont remember if the condition goes away on its own, looking at the xml's i can say it apparently doesnt... code wise i havent checked yet. In any case. Seeing your interest in it, im looking into adding the surgery.

Does the blamite wound from the needle gun wear off eventually? The description says it's a projectile stuck in the person but there is no surgical option to remove (which would be pretty cool).

Been working on the 1.3 update... surprise! it already loads in 1.3 with no errors on startup, im still working on checking everything so expect some errors during gameplay.

Skirmishers are finally out for 1.2. Note that some stuff is still missing, but 1.3 compatibility should take priority now, i'll return to those later.

Accidentally i almost killed the mod today while trying to update it to 1.3. Fortunately fate was on my side today and the files werent lost. Im trying to do the skirmishers and 1.3 update at the same time.

I have the covenant engineering research completed and the components in question are not available to make in the fabrication bench. Perhaps I need to raise the mod up in my load order?

even though someone else has made elites, grunts, brutes and hunters, your art style is a lot better and i could actually see them fitting into the rimworld lore! im excited ti see your other races

Sangheili are already done by someone else, the o21 mod has brutes, grunts and hunters iirc.
In my build of the mod Skirmishers are already implemented, but im trying to do something special with them, only time will tell if im able to pull it off. After that, im working in a mod to add animals from halo. After that, maybe Huragoks.
