Works fine on 1.5 thus far, pawns are not getting crushed in situations that they would normally and no apparent issues aside from missing options which I couldn't care less about.
Fiur 26 May, 2024 @ 8:12am
College sucks xD Fk us I guess. We have to wait this out!
King brus 26 May, 2024 @ 5:51am
1.5 pls, pawns down want to mine because "roof might colapse" even though i wont
CantPlayJack 24 May, 2024 @ 9:33am
@Onion go to the discord server linked in the description.
Vertigo 19 May, 2024 @ 3:45am
As much as I would love to see this updated, I'm pretty sure Legodude17 is focusing on some college courses based off some of his most recently created repos on github.
Onion 16 May, 2024 @ 2:22pm
im willing to pull out my wallet, wheres op, whats the price
TaurosG18 14 May, 2024 @ 2:47pm
No update until paid? Thats sucks
#6 14 May, 2024 @ 6:07am
Guys I wouldn't waste your breath on begging for an update, this mod was a commission. This usually means that unless more money is paid there will be no update.
大表哥 10 May, 2024 @ 8:00pm
1.5
Brooks 6 May, 2024 @ 9:19pm
I still see this as an improvement over vanilla. Even though it seemingly works well with 1.5, please consider porting it over in case anything needs to be adapted to 1.5! Thank you very much for the mod!
JeBo80 6 May, 2024 @ 12:04pm
in 1.5 I have no options for this mod. I find the mod in the mod option but the window is empty
Kotonoha no Niwa 5 May, 2024 @ 12:08am
works fine with 1.5 no errors yet.
Cling 30 Apr, 2024 @ 2:29pm
Isn't compatible with "Resumable Job Progress" mod for some reason
WitchyBitch 30 Apr, 2024 @ 6:10am
i personally havent had any issues running this mod on 1.5
RocketRacoon 27 Apr, 2024 @ 1:37pm
Nope, still not vanilla. Got a pawn crushed today :))
acoep 25 Apr, 2024 @ 6:30am

𝓼𝓷𝓸𝔀 22 Apr, 2024 @ 12:11pm
update plssss
ⒹⓔⓐⓓⓜⓐⓝWalking 22 Apr, 2024 @ 9:39am
none of these mechanics are vanilla now.
pawns are back to getting crushed.
Citizen706 21 Apr, 2024 @ 1:49pm
I don't think it's vanilla. My pawns are as stupid as always, getting crushed underneath roofs
Lil Kitty Girl 21 Apr, 2024 @ 10:53am
Couldn't find anything in the change logs..
Lil Kitty Girl 21 Apr, 2024 @ 10:43am
Wait its vanilla now?
D3K43 21 Apr, 2024 @ 9:59am
Pretty sure this has been made obsolete in 1.5. I think most of these mechanics are vanilla now
MajestyCaleb 21 Apr, 2024 @ 7:28am
My colonists keep dying please save me xD
:) 17 Apr, 2024 @ 7:48pm

Farron 4 Apr, 2024 @ 12:28pm
Hey are you planning to update to 1.5?
Nayko93 5 Mar, 2024 @ 2:16pm
Still have the bug when mining in a mountain, it always tell me that the roof will collapse even if it's not true
disabling the "cancel order for thick roof" in the option solve it but now I need to really be careful....
Sindin 17 Nov, 2023 @ 8:36pm
I seem to be having a issue on load when i set a tech needed to remove rooms to the one called ThickStoneRoofRemoval from Expanded Roofing 1.4 The section of the log in question fallows:

"Failed to find Verse.ResearchProjectDef named ThickStoneRoofRemoval. There are 0 defs of this type loaded.

I am unsure if this is even a proper error but i figured id check as it does pop up the warning and its just peace of mind for my really.
DigitalGhost 29 Sep, 2023 @ 4:03am
Is it ok to install this mod on a saved game or does it need to be a new game?
MrBeTrayed 22 Sep, 2023 @ 9:06pm
I experienced this same thing.. it did not collapse, but the system locked my character in place saying over and over that the pawn could not mine here because of roof collapse. Turned setting off and mined without any issues.

"Also had to remove the "when mining" option, as I was constantly getting spammed that a roof would collapse when there was no chance of it happening. The 3 blocks available from a doorway were all cancelled because this mod believes that the roof would collapse (Spoiler: it didn't)."
legodude17  [author] 30 Jul, 2023 @ 8:56am
@Edlar89: No, but that could be a good idea.
@ignis: I will look into it!
Edlar89 30 Jul, 2023 @ 2:10am
Does this mod change the way colonists deconstruct bridges? i.e prevent them from deconstructing the nearest one first making it impossible to reach the rest.
ignis 5 May, 2023 @ 7:39am
New "Biomes! Caverns" mod introduced "stable overhead mountain" type of roof that never collapses, looks like it needs some support here.
HAZRAD 19 Apr, 2023 @ 1:14pm
Thank you for this, great job!
Maya 21 Mar, 2023 @ 11:00am
Didnt stop one of my people from dying twice because of preventable roof collapses.
Chrisinater5 12 Mar, 2023 @ 6:07pm
If it's not preventing me from mining almost every block it's causing consistant crashes by checking too much at once.
Jboy9786 28 Jan, 2023 @ 6:01am
yeah it's definitely the checkers that are lagging my game everytime i try to mine anything
Jboy9786 28 Jan, 2023 @ 5:58am
Is it just me or is the checking for thick roofs or just regular roofs bugged ?
cuz it's starting to lag out my game real bad
Blinty 3 Jan, 2023 @ 10:23am
Also had to remove the "when mining" option, as I was constantly getting spammed that a roof would collapse when there was no chance of it happening. The 3 blocks available from a doorway were all cancelled because this mod believes that the roof would collapse (Spoiler: it didn't).
Magikarp 25 Dec, 2022 @ 10:50pm
So folks see it in the comments, as of 12/25/2022 this mod is incompatible with resumeable job progress hopefully it gets patched, by this or the other mod's author, but you can stop tearing apart your modlists searching for the 1 mod out of 300 breaking things.
pipMcDohl 24 Dec, 2022 @ 11:16am
i had to remove the "when mining" in the options as it was trigerring all the time for no reasons
Cantaloupe The Clown 17 Dec, 2022 @ 6:33pm
@Spino99999 @Deny the Ancient @Kar_Root , as well as anyone else who has the pawn-freezing bug, please post your modlist in the "bug report" thread, since that makes it easier to narrow down
Kar_Root 15 Dec, 2022 @ 7:30pm
It's fine, i will take the result of heave modding.
legodude17  [author] 15 Dec, 2022 @ 1:47pm
@brandonlk: Remove RimThreaded. I will never support it.
@Kar_Root: Unfortunately there's basically nothing I can do until someone can tell me which mod is conflicting.
Kar_Root 15 Dec, 2022 @ 5:46am
Same mod conflict happened as @Spino99999 and @Deny the Ancient . Running with 990~ mods no error or warning appear when happening. Works fine in testing when setting this as the only mod.
It seems only affect buildings that spawned on map (space ship scarp also affected), player buildings seems not affected by this conflict.
brandonlk 14 Dec, 2022 @ 10:52am
this was my latest logs. i already got one awnser from rimthreaded causing issues
