It should.
I don't know
Thanks
i checked the files and it's fine there, the patagonian tag is AOK istead of AGK
All I can say is that I have used assimilate for several countries with success. Perhaps try re-downloading and starting a new game?
How are you getting the tags to appear in-game? Which command(s)?
All of them, or just one in particular? They have religion/culture in my 1.30.6 game. Do you have any other mods by chance?
I should clarify that I'm not just playing without the leviathan DLC, im playing on the previous version of the game, 1.30.6, because muh save filez.
Odd, it should. I'll be updating it for Leviathan as soon as I finish all of my work for the converters.
How is it breaking?
The Kurds already have a Primary nation in Ardalan.
Culture groups used to look a lot different, back in the day. They used to be based almost entirely on language groups, which is why Madagascar use to be in a culture group with Polynesia and if memory serves, Finnish, Ingrian and Uralic were all part of the Finno-Ugric group. This was a long time ago though. Paradox rarely removes cultures (though they may move them to other groups) in order to keep saves from breaking. You can tell sometimes from the unchanged code names. (Fetishism uses the coding name "shamanism" which was once a religion in the game.)There's also no need to since the cultures don't really do anything. So yes, all of the legacy cultures used to be fully in the game at one point.
And thank you again for pointing out another typo.
Also, I might as well add, I noticed that on the Athenian culture bit you wrote Athen’s ; as Athens ends with S adding a 's results in Athens' . Obviously it is nothing but a detail of course.
Thanks for pointing out the typo.
When I say "no longer in the game", I mean they no longer exist in any provinces or as a culture of any nation. They can still be selected as a custom nation, and as mentioned, if you become an Empire you will still accept that culture. (Even if it will always be 0% of your nation barring custom nations.)
Also, regarding number 3 on the FAQ, the legacy cultures were not outwardly sniped from the vanilla game. They are options for custom nations just like the lost cultures group except they were better of in a preexisting group.
Or were they removed in an update I missed?
Thank you for the info! Nenet will now be Nenetsia and Tonga will be changed to Fiji.
Tongans are Polynesians so Tonga as Melanesian tag is weird I guess.
