I'll also make it dye-able, slap together an easy to put together reference item, and chuck it up later.
- Could you possible make it so the red stripe on it can be dyed?
- When worn on females, the chest flattens while running. was this intentional or?
I also only made one of the outfits listed, given I was getting obsessive with tail physics(and procrastination).
I'll post the list, and you tell me which ones you want for Christmas!
Amy Rose
Blaze the Cat(Riders suit included)
Etna
Femme Pyro
Fiona Fox
Gate Opener Alice(partially done)
Hijiri Byakuren Riding Suit
Kitty Katswell
Koyanskaya
Ladybug
Lein-Da
Mezzo Suzuki Mikura
Rindou
Shima(She got lost playing Starbound, eh?)
The reason for my choices are that their outfits are distinguishable enough from the plethora of generics.
P.S. Ru-ge-de-bat(As ToG called her) is all hooked up in the new references menu, I'm just gonna slap a few of the above choices in as well, and put it up on 12/24.
I've always been looking for pictures of what others have put together from this mod, but this is the first I've seen.
Originally it had been intended to just let something like a pony tail out the back, but I can kinda see what your were going for, like hair out and over the sides.
I'll have to check into how the sprites are layered, and see if I can find a string of code that places the item sprite in front of the head, but not the hair.
Even if I can't, I'll throw in Rouge's bat suit(I made it ages ago, why have I not included it yet?) in a new category for references, filling the one empty space in the menu as well. Might make more reference items too, but mainly for distinct clothing pieces that aren't already able to be made with the preexisting generics, like Alice from Queen's Gate, Amy Rose, or Femme Pyro.
All in all, I'm glad you're enjoying the mod! Utilitarian generics for the win!
There should be some options that block all hair instead.
Are they all allowing any and all hair to go through?
So, long story short, I have been putting my computer into sleep mode for the past week instead of shutting it down. Because of that, Windows didn't update for quite a while now, and I decided to try and update it, for it may help. And it did help! Well, sort of.
The thing is, when I turn my computer on, Steam also updates as well, but I forgot about it already. And it did update this time! Filled with hope I jumped into Starbound, checked the mod tab - and Knightfall's version was 1.7.0.1! And the new clothes in GE have also appeared!
IT WORKED! I can't believe it!
Anyway, I am soo sorry for taking that much of your time away, really sorry!
So, this whole thing may or may not be just Steam having some weird issues, for this mod is now not the only one which updated stuff is not showing up. Knightfall mod got updated yesterday as well, I noticed that ten minutes ago on its modpage, started the game to finally check out the update, and guess what? None of the new stuff showed up, just like here. And those were the bad news, by the way.
My assumption is that Steam is currently having some weird issues that prevent it to detect updates. And I really hope that it will be fixed soon...
If that doesn't work, check and see if the bikini looks more like the top or bottom of this example.
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2422886271&fileuploadsuccess=1
If it's like the top example, that just mean the game hasn't applied anything of the new update, but if it's like the bottom, then it has, but something's royally borked in the background, as it did download the new content, but it's just not working.
Front arm sprites are definitely intended to overwrite normal clothes, but with where I had sprited the straps to be, it overwrote part of a strap too, like in the top version of the example.
Anyway, I have checked it out - the front arm does actually overlap the clothing sprites - in fact, all of them, not only the bikini - just like I expected. However, the back arm doesn't overlap anything, and the same goes to the bikini item as well. Is that a good sign or a bad one?
When running, the strap of the bikini item was overlapped with the front arm sprite, interrupting it, something fixed in the last couple of updates. If, when running, the strap nearest the front arm is overlapped, it may just mean that the workshop content needs to update in the downloads section of Steam.
What made me think it's just not updated for you is that, even before I fixed the player config after the first update, I was able to go onto an admin character and just pull up the items fine, meaning you might not have gotten either of the two recent updates.
Thank you for your patience, this problem's perplexing to me as well.
There is also another screenshot in my profile, it shows that there isn't anything new with "zipped" in its title, exept for some old stuff.
My Starbound game has GE from subscribing to it on Steam, so if there were a problem with the upload that was preventing the new leg items from spawning, I'd be out of luck too when playing my non-admin character.
The new variants' item names are Zipped Leggings, Pants(and Zipped), Dress(and Zipped), Skirt(and Zipped), Shorts, and Thong. If you could send me a picture of the GE interface when you open the leggings, that would be helpful.
I could try to delete the mod and reinstall it back, though. However, I don't want to lose my outfit combinations...
By the way, I have accidentally found your Easter Egg thing with some lore on Vendors.)
