GeekyRaptorStudios 25 Feb, 2024 @ 3:24am
nevermind I don't know why but this mod wasn't it. Love this mod btw! :D
GeekyRaptorStudios 25 Feb, 2024 @ 3:13am
crashes my game not sure why. really wish it worked.
Elioz Dherion 2 Feb, 2023 @ 3:11pm
can you add diferent types of gags and blindfolds please?
gMaImNeDs  [author] 29 May, 2022 @ 7:10pm
Error dyeability added, fixed the male version of Etna's top(it had the reference template stuck underneath it(How the hell'd that slip by me?)), and started on Kamimori Sayaka from Rindou's Radical Dream. Gonna finish Sayaka, then see if I can recall how to update it through SteamCMD.
Blue Moon 24 May, 2022 @ 5:41am
love this mod ;3
gMaImNeDs  [author] 24 May, 2022 @ 12:14am
I can't seem to replicate any issues, seems to work alright for me. Is it the change where a more upright posture changes to the lower posture torso sprite when running?

I'll also make it dye-able, slap together an easy to put together reference item, and chuck it up later.
gMaImNeDs  [author] 23 May, 2022 @ 11:48pm
Thanks for bringing this to my attention, I'll see if it happens for me too.
Myntea 19 May, 2022 @ 7:55pm
Couple of things I thought I'd mention about the "Error" set:
- Could you possible make it so the red stripe on it can be dyed?
- When worn on females, the chest flattens while running. was this intentional or?
NerdCuddles 3 Mar, 2022 @ 7:59pm
non-shiny version? with non-shiny dyes it looks weird
Blue Moon 29 Jan, 2022 @ 12:08am
thank you very much! i love the rogue outfit.
gMaImNeDs  [author] 28 Jan, 2022 @ 9:31pm
Oversight. I never thought of that item's ChestM being used, since originally I just made it for personal use, so at the time I didn't think to make one, and then I slapped it into the reference update while spending most of my time getting OCD over Etna's tail. I'll fix that.
Blue Moon 28 Jan, 2022 @ 9:26pm
why doesnt the Rogue outfit have the heart chestpiece for males? it looks... wrong without it, was that an intentional choice?
p_trevogin 27 Dec, 2021 @ 3:30am
Who are Etna and Rouge?
gMaImNeDs  [author] 25 Dec, 2021 @ 10:44pm
I'd've had it out in time for Christmas(even if last minute), but I ran into some troubles in remembering how to upload the updates(and procrastination), given the last time I did so was about 9 months ago.

I also only made one of the outfits listed, given I was getting obsessive with tail physics(and procrastination).
gMaImNeDs  [author] 15 Dec, 2021 @ 2:37pm
Yep!
p_trevogin 15 Dec, 2021 @ 3:33am
So, if I got it right, the last section would be cosplay outfits?
gMaImNeDs  [author] 15 Dec, 2021 @ 1:13am
Good news, I've got some stuff planned to be made for Christmas, bad news is I can't get to it all by Christmas.
I'll post the list, and you tell me which ones you want for Christmas!

Amy Rose
Blaze the Cat(Riders suit included)
Etna
Femme Pyro
Fiona Fox
Gate Opener Alice(partially done)
Hijiri Byakuren Riding Suit
Kitty Katswell
Koyanskaya
Ladybug
Lein-Da
Mezzo Suzuki Mikura
Rindou
Shima(She got lost playing Starbound, eh?)

The reason for my choices are that their outfits are distinguishable enough from the plethora of generics.
P.S. Ru-ge-de-bat(As ToG called her) is all hooked up in the new references menu, I'm just gonna slap a few of the above choices in as well, and put it up on 12/24.
Mystle 6 Dec, 2021 @ 6:00am
wow, my link was flagged as malicious? Like I get that steam wants to be secure, but I feel kinda insulted that it would think I shared a malicious link.
p_trevogin 6 Dec, 2021 @ 12:36am
I tried to do the same thing, but the only link it copies is the link to this modpage.
gMaImNeDs  [author] 5 Dec, 2021 @ 11:49pm
Since it's just Imgur.com , I copied and pasted it since I was sure they're safe.
p_trevogin 5 Dec, 2021 @ 11:28pm
How did you manage to open the link? Steam doesn't allow me to open it, because it sees it as a threat. Anyway, glad to hear that this mod is still being worked on!)
gMaImNeDs  [author] 5 Dec, 2021 @ 8:36pm
Glad you managed to get it looking as intended!

I've always been looking for pictures of what others have put together from this mod, but this is the first I've seen.
Mystle 5 Dec, 2021 @ 7:59pm
Here is what I was able to do by only leaving the pixels that covered the face. (https://imgur.com/WVJ7PUW) I dyed the outfit green so You can easily see it and distinguish it from the rest of my character. This is therefore a visual example of what I was hoping for.
Mystle 5 Dec, 2021 @ 7:49pm
Thanks, it would be really cool if you could get it to work, however, as I said, it seems to be limitation of the system, I've yet see even one item, modded or not, that does what I described, so no pressure if you can't do it, I have however found that because you thankfully left the mod unpacked I could edit the sprite of the mask so it only covered the face of my character, this is only a temporary client-side solution though, as if someone with a different hairstyle were to wear it it would look weird again.
gMaImNeDs  [author] 5 Dec, 2021 @ 7:26pm
Thanks for the explanation, that makes good sense!

Originally it had been intended to just let something like a pony tail out the back, but I can kinda see what your were going for, like hair out and over the sides.

I'll have to check into how the sprites are layered, and see if I can find a string of code that places the item sprite in front of the head, but not the hair.

Even if I can't, I'll throw in Rouge's bat suit(I made it ages ago, why have I not included it yet?) in a new category for references, filling the one empty space in the menu as well. Might make more reference items too, but mainly for distinct clothing pieces that aren't already able to be made with the preexisting generics, like Alice from Queen's Gate, Amy Rose, or Femme Pyro.

All in all, I'm glad you're enjoying the mod! Utilitarian generics for the win!
Mystle 5 Dec, 2021 @ 7:08pm
What I was expecting was for the item to cover the face, and have the hair part of the sprite render over top of the mask. The item in question is "Full Mask, Hair"
Mystle 5 Dec, 2021 @ 7:06pm
What I mean is that the item appears to be one that allows all hair through, however it looks like it's simply been copy and pasted in front of the character sprite, and after having looked through the internet a bit, it looks like the issue i'm describing is simply a limitation of the system and nothing you could fix without extensive and intrusive coding. You've done a good job with the mod, i'm simply nitpicking at something that I now realize is probably outside of your capabilities.
gMaImNeDs  [author] 5 Dec, 2021 @ 5:44pm
Some are intentionally designed to allow the hair through, while others block it entirely.

There should be some options that block all hair instead.

Are they all allowing any and all hair to go through?
Mystle 5 Dec, 2021 @ 7:55am
So, the masks with hair don't seem to rendering properly, so unless you're aware and it's something that can't be fixed due to limitations of the system, i'd like it if someone could look into the issue, as of rn it looks like the hood was simply copy and pasted in front of the head and hair.
p_trevogin 21 Apr, 2021 @ 11:45am
Yeah, gMaImNeDs has already helped me out to find it off-Steam.
Windtalkers 18 Apr, 2021 @ 4:35pm
@p_trevogin: I believe you are talking about "Morningstar's Garage" (2227058613)?
p_trevogin 7 Apr, 2021 @ 2:13pm
Hey, have you noticed that the mod which added cool vehicles (like those motorcycles on your screenshot) got suddenly deleted? That's right, I just opened a container with some controllers from that mod and all I was seeing there was only Perfectly Generic Items. I checked my subscriptions - that mod wasn't there. I checked the Workshop in general, using "vehicles and mounts" tag - nothing. The mod has simply gone without any trace.
nouima 22 Mar, 2021 @ 7:50pm
yes
gMaImNeDs  [author] 22 Mar, 2021 @ 7:44pm
So true. Celty Sturluson all the way, and I'm sure people interested in the other sex might find Ghost Rider their thing. :Etna:
nouima 22 Mar, 2021 @ 7:35pm
F*** spandex leather is the way my dudes
gMaImNeDs  [author] 13 Mar, 2021 @ 3:22pm
Not to worry, it didn't take that much time, and glad to see everything's in order! Now to slap together a few of those shiny references.
p_trevogin 13 Mar, 2021 @ 3:09pm
No way! I can't believe the solution was that simple and that close!
So, long story short, I have been putting my computer into sleep mode for the past week instead of shutting it down. Because of that, Windows didn't update for quite a while now, and I decided to try and update it, for it may help. And it did help! Well, sort of.
The thing is, when I turn my computer on, Steam also updates as well, but I forgot about it already. And it did update this time! Filled with hope I jumped into Starbound, checked the mod tab - and Knightfall's version was 1.7.0.1! And the new clothes in GE have also appeared!
IT WORKED! I can't believe it!
Anyway, I am soo sorry for taking that much of your time away, really sorry!
p_trevogin 13 Mar, 2021 @ 2:37pm
I only wish it didn't take too long. I was waiting for literal months for that KF update to come out...
gMaImNeDs  [author] 13 Mar, 2021 @ 2:29pm
Just checked the metadata, and I forgot to change it to 1.1, but yeah, Steam's probably bugging out a bit.
p_trevogin 13 Mar, 2021 @ 2:21pm
I have checked Starbound's mod tab, and in there it's stated that Knightfall's current version is 1.6.0, while in reality the current version is already 1.7.0! And the same thing is with GE - it is stated that the mod's current version is still 1!
gMaImNeDs  [author] 13 Mar, 2021 @ 2:20pm
Thanks for keeping me up to date about what's going on with it. And that's understandable as, for me, Steam's been having minor slips and bugs in general since the :summer2019logotortoise::summer2019logohare::summer2019cone::summer2019logocorgi::summer2019logocockatiel: Grand Prix of 2019
p_trevogin 13 Mar, 2021 @ 1:42pm
Okay, I have some good news and some bad news. It depends on how to look at them, though. Probably gonna start with the good ones.
So, this whole thing may or may not be just Steam having some weird issues, for this mod is now not the only one which updated stuff is not showing up. Knightfall mod got updated yesterday as well, I noticed that ten minutes ago on its modpage, started the game to finally check out the update, and guess what? None of the new stuff showed up, just like here. And those were the bad news, by the way.
My assumption is that Steam is currently having some weird issues that prevent it to detect updates. And I really hope that it will be fixed soon...
p_trevogin 13 Mar, 2021 @ 1:03pm
Damn. I hate to say this, but I don't see almost any difference between those two images, exept for one single pixel, probably. But even then, I cannot notice such tiny detail on my character, cause that requires her to walk\run, and the animation is too fast to see anything as tiny as this...
gMaImNeDs  [author] 12 Mar, 2021 @ 6:30pm
I'd recommend checking the downloads menu in Steam after picking up another Starbound mod, and checking if it's completed the download for "Starbound - Workshop Content" as I think the problem might be that the mod hasn't downloaded.

If that doesn't work, check and see if the bikini looks more like the top or bottom of this example.
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2422886271&fileuploadsuccess=1

If it's like the top example, that just mean the game hasn't applied anything of the new update, but if it's like the bottom, then it has, but something's royally borked in the background, as it did download the new content, but it's just not working.

Front arm sprites are definitely intended to overwrite normal clothes, but with where I had sprited the straps to be, it overwrote part of a strap too, like in the top version of the example.
p_trevogin 12 Mar, 2021 @ 3:42pm
Wait, isn't the front arm sprite actually supposed to overlap any clothes? Cause it is kinda closer to the "camera", making any clothing somewhat behind the arm. Maybe you mean the back arm? If so, that would make more sense. Or maybe it actually was the bikini item that used to overlap the front arm sprite in the first place?
Anyway, I have checked it out - the front arm does actually overlap the clothing sprites - in fact, all of them, not only the bikini - just like I expected. However, the back arm doesn't overlap anything, and the same goes to the bikini item as well. Is that a good sign or a bad one?
gMaImNeDs  [author] 12 Mar, 2021 @ 2:23pm
To define whether the problem is that the mod hasn't updated for you or there's something wrong under the hood, there's another thing that was updated and was present in older updates that you could check.

When running, the strap of the bikini item was overlapped with the front arm sprite, interrupting it, something fixed in the last couple of updates. If, when running, the strap nearest the front arm is overlapped, it may just mean that the workshop content needs to update in the downloads section of Steam.

What made me think it's just not updated for you is that, even before I fixed the player config after the first update, I was able to go onto an admin character and just pull up the items fine, meaning you might not have gotten either of the two recent updates.

Thank you for your patience, this problem's perplexing to me as well. :KSad:
p_trevogin 12 Mar, 2021 @ 11:39am
Here's the screenshot of the mod interface in the leggings tab: https://steamuserimages-a.akamaihd.net/ugc/1750184199577183590/0B59E8227DC7EF4602A10C008250A7A013128F9D/ As you can see, nothing has changed there since the mod release. By the way, I am also in admin here, if it helps.
There is also another screenshot in my profile, it shows that there isn't anything new with "zipped" in its title, exept for some old stuff.
gMaImNeDs  [author] 11 Mar, 2021 @ 3:44pm
For the leggings that have a boundary, I named them Pants, an example being "Ankle Boots, Pants", and not to worry, you'll never have to go as far as reinstalling it to get them.

My Starbound game has GE from subscribing to it on Steam, so if there were a problem with the upload that was preventing the new leg items from spawning, I'd be out of luck too when playing my non-admin character.

The new variants' item names are Zipped Leggings, Pants(and Zipped), Dress(and Zipped), Skirt(and Zipped), Shorts, and Thong. If you could send me a picture of the GE interface when you open the leggings, that would be helpful.
p_trevogin 11 Mar, 2021 @ 12:08pm
I still cannot find those, the leggings tab is not bloated at all, it's normal size like it was before. And what does "but with a slightly different name" mean?
I could try to delete the mod and reinstall it back, though. However, I don't want to lose my outfit combinations...
By the way, I have accidentally found your Easter Egg thing with some lore on Vendors.)
