could i make a rework mod for her?
First off, the good. You NAILED the Darkest Dungeon graphic style and sound design! Also, the fact that you changed the "move" ability into a completely different thing is extremely unique!
Her pull, blight, stun, and both her melees are really inspired skills!
Her pistol skills, however, I felt were less inspired in design and quite op in numbers...
All in all, I feel this is a great mod! But i think it COULD benefit from a rework to both of her gun abilities. Like giving one a bonus to DMG vs a blighted target, or adding in more utility, like stealth/destealth, mark, etc.
Lastly... You know how a Grave Robber can either be a dagger-spammer or a Lunge dancer? The Viper doesn't have that synergy with herself to the point where there's "builds" for her, making her one-dimensional.
That's all. Great mod!
But I think it still need some changes in skills? Im not sure, its just my expirience.
Venom mist - looks TOOOOOO OP. Like you are putting a big and long poison on the target + almost the same hard poison on EVERYONE else. Im not sure, but seems op. Maybe we need edit the time for it, or cooldown or better to add only a chances to apply it on other targets? With that skill you literally dont need any other.
Slug shot - looks kinda like highwayman shot from first position, but dont move you and aplly almost the same amount of damage. I think maybe its worth to make her move as Highwayman one after shot too? Or smth else? Its limited, but I rare used it over 2 times anyway.
Other than that not bad mod and good integrated into the game.
is there a known way to fix this on my end/is it something I've done load order wise? The Viper is actually fairly close to bottom of the load order due to when I downloaded them. (one of my more recent additions).
Also; Will you add any color palletes? Maybe scale color change as well?
Regardless; Great mod, versatile but not OP character; Her responses to various situations are my favourite, good job to whoever did it.
