Very nice map!
with latch-and-hold" which is unusual, probably added to not get stuck during the 3 laps? Prediction: You will leave the weighted cube on the first button because you think you'll need the laser cube. This means the laser cube is left on the laser button, because you realize you will need the laser to exit. So you go another lap to get the first button. With a little work you bring both cubes to the exit, but the door locks behind you and the sphere is no use to activate the laser. On a whim you press the button right by the laser cube dropper and hear a splash. There was a hidden cube dropper and so now it's solvable. Another lap to set up the laser and now you can exit, with a sphere to spare.
@Saucy Pirate: Carl Kerner delivered via StyleMod some very useful examples of the editoritems.txt. Just check how he adds textures and models to the map. I used the existing metal texture's vmt, just changed the colour and minor pixels - and used the existing alpha texture; because i save those as DXT1, i had to remove the details from the original vmt.
