Cakeman, they added sizable nuclear reactors, and a bunch of other things like new screens sizes, steam engines, etc.

Yes it uses player sensors except in the command area in there you use a button to turn them on

you could use the wheel glitch to generate power (and propulsion) underwater, but yeah jets are pretty cool and are a good substitute for reactors

I will make it nuclear powered when the reactors become a thing, i wanted it to be able to generate power under water.
