That goes for everyone that reads this. I never got behind the whole No ItS mY WoRk So ItS cOpYrIgHtEd bullshit some mod authors practice. It's not like I ever earned any money with this nor was that my intent when creating mods.

Hello, I was wondering if you would allow the creation of a "Engineers of Life - Lite" mod that only contains the life seeding ships, technology, and observation station missions?

If not its all good, its something I already made for personal use that would go well with my recently published mod.

@stg1joey This version of the mod is abandoned. Use the link someone posted below your comment for the newest version. That one isn't run by me though so I can't guarantee that it'll work

Sure @peetey897. I will probably get back to playing Stellaris a bit after Overlord drops but I have no drive right now to get back to modding. This mod was basically my first mod ever and giving its scale and my lack of experience at the time there will definitely be some not so optimal code in there. I wish you good luck though. :) If you need any help or explanation just DM me. I accepted your friend request.

Hello! I'm working on fixing/updating this mod for the new versions. I've sent you a friend request as you mentioned you would be okay with someone else taking over the mod. My updates need a bit more time and playtesting before they're ready to upload, but I will let you know once it's ready!

@NukaBoy No, not playing as machines, was playing as a gestalt, is that an issue? Did not test it with a non-gestalt empire.

Probably the patch as I have tested this mod with my standard tests of: Does it show up on Normal Civilizations? how about hive minds? if the answer is no to both i assume the mod needs to catch up to the patches and wait until i use its life seeding properties again.

@KcAc33 Are you playing as machines? If yes that is the problem. If no then its definitely a bug that, most probably, was introduced with one of the new patches

Seem to be missing the seed ship, I see that the author is taking a much needed break, so if anyone knows how to fix, would be awesome. I don't have the seed ship in the ship menu either, not just the shipyards. It's a shame the seed ships don't show up, they are such an awesome theory I would love to see in fruition. Truly love the mod.

This mod is on hiatus, the dev is currently burnt out on Stellaris / modding. Sorry, but its been outdated for a while

The bio engineering facility seems to be broken for me. I can breed any creature I want, it takes my resources but then nothing happens. No progress bar starts, no creatures appear.
Also, it would be nice to have a way of exiting that menu without breeding anything, which doesn't seem possible right now.

God 3600 hours, I have 700 hours right now. I can see why you are burnt out a bit. It is a bit amazing this is your first mod, it was ambitious haha. Have a good one though, this mod was great.

Thank you mate. You know even though it was my first Stellaris mod I think given the scale of it I actually did quite a good job. But there are definitely things I would do different now that I got more experience.

I'm really burned out of Stellaris (got 3600+ hours) but I know I'll be back one day. And maybe I will update the mod then.

If anybody wants to overtake the mod and create a new version feel free to do so. If you pm me about it I will put a link into the description.

Yes I currently don't have the time to fix the mod. I'll get back to Stellaris modding one day but right now don't expect an update. This mod was my very first one and some parts of the code are a real mess because of that.

This mod no longer appears functional in the current version. Also kills the dragon background from the aquatics dlc.

Has anyone noticed this impacting the dragon origin on the new dlc? I appear to have a 0 damage output from my sky dragon and I'm concerned this mod is the source.

@NukaBoy By your guidance it says "behind" in the load order. On the stellaris loader, is behind a lower number like 1,2,3.. or a higher number like 17,18,19? Just giving an example as behind is a bit subjective on a vertical numbered interface.

I did use the origin and I looked in researched technologies and the seed ship was in there. I just can't build seed ships at shipyards or have something pop up when I click on a habitable world.

You either have to use the appropriate origin or you need to research it. Though I will make some changes to the prerequisites because currently researching the seed ships can be impossible depending on your choices. But choosing the origin that comes with this mod will guarantee you to have them unlocked from the game start if you aren't machines

@Everyone: The 1.3.7 update has been released which finally fixes the ship designer bug as well as makes some changes to the size of selected leviathans.

@Everyone: There will be an update that fixes some essential bugs in the next few days. I just need to transfer the mod files from my old computer to the new one. Keep an eye out for the new version (1.3.7)

@Babka: Like I said an update is not needed right now. Nobody reported any bugs after 3.2 released so everything should be fine.

@Skill Less: I'll take a look but right now I'm too busy with RL stuff so I don't know when exactly I can find the time to get into modding again

@bhorton22 you can use both mods, the lower mod in list will probably win.
