Nevermind, I found one that works, looks like it use the same principle as any periscope control (and yours), but as I said I'm currently too stupid to know how I have to edit yours to work with only a periscope without the mentioned problem, haha.

For some reason when I keep only the sin cos multiply... section the sub's engine and pump won't stop going full speed, even if there's a relay with it's status controlled by the output from the periscope.

You don't need 90% of the circuit, most of the components here replicate auto-pilot in case you leave the shuttle

Sadly, I'm too stupid to modify it for a periscope only shuttle (It seems your circuit use the terminal for engine control when using periscope?), I guess I'll have to search for other circuits. Thanks tho, I did learn something from yours.

Periscope system is simple, the whole manual auto-braking gave me a headache. Feel free to re-use the circuit on your own micro shuttles. Check out my seabike for an explanation of how it works

Where did you learn or were inspired to make the periscope controlled system? And if you don't mind can I use it on my sub?

You are truly based.

No. Its a small unholy (And very funny) nugget submarine. I love it.

It's a small, underwater shuttle you can drive using periscope or navigation terminal

duh

What sort of unholy atrocity is this.

Yes I tried on my end as well without managing to do it.
At least with the pump fixed they will only try to do this when I break the shuttle hull so it's better !

Thanks for the fast answers and the upload

This is rough, the bot seems stuck trying to repair the ballast, bangs on the door without actually doing anything. I've tried moving waypoints around; no success

The bot is capable of swimming down the shuttle and repair if you flood the airlock, but not getting up the ladder. I guess you'll have to manually deal with it
Krisscut 29 Mar, 2021 @ 9:42am
I checked on the Seapnir and it seems you have the same bot issue as me !

See https://streamable.com/59j8n6

Yes i agree, waypoints can be such a nightmare :(
hUbert 2  [author] 29 Mar, 2021 @ 4:32am
Check how I hulled the airlock on Seapnir, you need two hulls without a gap to prevent water from flowing in

As for waypoints I can't really help, they are like black magic to me :captainclown:

Thanks I will check when I can !

I modified the shuttle to add a on/off button on my side, and I noticed the pump hidden in the hull was damaged somehow so I edited it's values to make it invulnerable. (One bot was trying to repair it)

I tried to add a ladder and some waypoints but they fail to get into the shuttle.
Maybe it's due to my setup of waypoints on the ship side as well.
For some reason the bot tries to repair the hull of the shuttle without using the ladder and to go into it so of course can't reach the damaged hull from the ship.

By the way do you have recommendations on the setup in the ship to host the shuttle ?
I had to add a door that I close most of the time to avoid water flooding the ship through the shuttle. (And it auto close when the shuttle is undocked)
hUbert 2  [author] 29 Mar, 2021 @ 2:56am
Updated, tell me if bots are still panicking
hUbert 2  [author] 29 Mar, 2021 @ 2:49am
Strange, on my sub I don't have that issue and bots are not bothered by the flooded hull

All the machinery is immune to damage so there shouldn't be a need for repairs.

It could be a waypoint problem, maybe removing the waypoint that goes in the shuttle would calm bots. Or perhaps I simply forgot to update the shuttle, let me check

Hey, nice little sea bike !

Do you have recommendations on how to make it bot friendly ?
I have attached it to my sub but the prod keep trying to repair things and they don't seems to like the "everything flooded" thing.

Maybe i should prevent the stuff inside to be damaged (except the hulls maybe)
