Most of Geze's other assets are in that style.
It means a lot to hear that! The specular map is all 255 for where the glass is mapped. The "frames" for the glass are separate planes mapped to a lower value. Apparently putting high specular values right next to lower values creates artifacts and the texture looked horrible when I tried to use a normal map for the frames, so I decided to make a mesh for them individually so I could get the appearance I wanted.
I actually left the interior roof out because I didn't think anyone would be able to see it, but apparently I was wrong. I'll add that in and try to reduce tri-count soon. Thanks a lot!

I totally understand. I figured if I wanted to ever get into modeling my own assets, I might as well start with something I really want to see in my city. I had that exact problem you've described -- multiple photographs with different lenses makes the proportions funky, and I had no luck finding building information online so I resorted to using rough estimations from Google Earth for the building size. I'm done modeling and it won't be an exact replica at all, but I'm hoping it'll be in the spirit of the building when it's done. I'm about ready to start texturing to see how it turns out.
Would you be willing to do the new Ginza Namiki Louis Vuitton store in Tokyo? I want it so bad I'm thinking about having a go at it myself, but getting the mesh right feels like it would be really hard. But looking at this store, I'm hoping you might be up for it.
