so right now, Stonehenge is greyed out in 1 of my 4 cities, and it SHOULD be greyed out in that one because I do not have stone near the city. HOWEVER, Stonehenge doesn't even show up as an OPTION in my other cities, and one of my other cities does infact have stone in it. If a Wonder is greyed out in one of my cities shouldnt it also be appearing either greyed out or not in all my other cities?
Requires:
Cannot be built in the same district with a Nevermind this
could you eliminate this? it's just an interface thing and it's probably for a prerequisite for making them unbuildable in other places, but is it possible to make this invisible?
As it might give some Players some interesting Gameplay while not completely taking away the Wonder Race from the Game, I will add some Options in the Set-up menu for Players who want to grab a Wonder for the whole Game (even if they switch to building something else).
Thank you for the Infos!
Players will have to make absolutely sure that they've got strong protection on and around the Wonder(s) that they're constructing.
Also, is that only *active* construction, or can I start a Wonder then switch to building something else for a while? If it's only active construction then the above problem will exist.
Interesting tactic. Someone's building a Wonder you want, you declare war, sit on the Wonder hex, start your own copy, they can't restart unless they can find where you're building yours. Or, of course, if they're forced to build something defensive and have to stop Wonder construction.
Anyway, Thanks for the Note. You might be right about the misleading phrasing, I will change it so that it's clear what the Issue is.
If you spent 500 Production for a Wonder and then losed this latter, and the next production object that you choose has a production cost of 200 Production, then you will have to wait 1 more turn to get that object constructed, but there won't be any production left from the previous overflow, which in this example is 300, a HUGE amount of production that gets lost. That's especially disadvantageous because Wonders always have a very high amount of production Cost.
@Zyxpsilon That's reasonable, since they are replacers, and Firaxis keeps updating the ToolTip Lua. The last update was with the January Pack.
Broken Dusk has made a Wonder&Hero Progress Mod after that update:

So perhaps that one still works.
>>starting all them first and then finishing at your leisure
You can't finish at your leisure. If you switch to something else AI can start to build the wonder and you won't be able to continue.
I was already thinking about a Notification when a Civ starts to Build a Wonder. But what if you can't build more than 1 Wonder at a Time in all of your Cities? this way, even if you (or AI) choose to place a Wonder (assuming the method in this Mod is persisting), you can't (and neither the other Civs) start building another Wonder till you have finished the one you've started. So you wouldn't have to scout the Map (as it's unrealistic and just helps the Human Player only). Each Civ would only be able to build one wonder at a Time, but they're all different from Each other. So no waisted Time and Production, and less likeliness to loose many Wonders that you wanted to build.
So thanks for the Criticism! (who said criticism is a bad thing? questions lead to answers ;) )
I'm open for Ideas, so any suggestions are welcome.
And if you just want to abuse this to place Wonders so AI can't build them, then fine, each his/her. But keep in mind the AI won't do that, only a Human Player.
To your Request: I will quit modding for some weeks, and after that there are still many Modding Projects waiting for me. I will try to find some Time for that, but I can't promise you anything.
PS: I saw your other request for the Artefacts Poppup. I may also try something in that Direction. Just a little Patience. (I remember being also annoyed from that some Time ago, but I kinda forgot it)
Please?! ;)
I had sent a note to Mk Z some time back without reply, so I thought he was out of the Mod business completely. (I'm dsinsocal from the forums) and that's why I asked if anyone else could jump in and make it work.
If it still doesn't work, you can provide the Modding and Database Logs. You can find them in: C:\User\Documents\My Games\Sid Meier's Civilization VI\Logs.
@Mk Z Sorry I didn't ask for permission first. I thought you're not using your account anymore. I hope it's ok for you. :)
