they also show up at the end of cliffhanger in mw2, likely since they have a group animation of exiting a helo that’s used a couple times in cod4

The CoD wiki describes them as being USMC Recon, though obviously their presence in "One Shot, One Kill" and their character models being used for the SAS in multiplayer kinda militates against that.

Yeah. When I ported them, they were called just "Force". And I didn't know honestly how to call them. Sorry about that
