I´m using your controller. In a 1x1 18 cyl boxer engine with a flywheel and no electric engine, it runs perfect.
In a 3x3 12 cyl T-shape engine with no flywheel but with the electric engine, it was running fine for several tests... Then I notice the MC sets the clutch pressure to 1 when I turn the key on (don´t know if did it before; the engine always turns on), and at the very moment the engine starts, the MC drops the clutch to 0, letting the engine unable to power anything.
I checked ALL several times, tried to copy the small engine building and settings with the 3x3 components but nothing works.
The only way I´ve found to "solve" the issue is making the engine clutch manual (Now the 3x3 engine has a flywheel too but no electric engine)
Please, can You (or someone else) give me a hand?
Thank you very much for your good work, time and effort.
It took me FAR too long to realise this...... and I work with numbers all day!! XD
Great piece of kit now I've worked that out!!!
So I edited it and removed that 'and' in the top left and replaced it with a up/down counter which increases the clutch incrementally if the same RPS/throttle threshold checks are NOT true (aka if the engine is not starting or has low RPM.) and the up/down counter resets when they are true.
Not sure why the Add was there or if it was intentional for some reason but it seemed counter productive for engine start-up and wouldn't start my 6 cylinder 3x3 engine for my boat which has a 1x1 flywheel.
Here is the edited version, but I'm hoping you'll see this comment and update it accordingly if it wasn't intentional, and judging by your activity here I don't doubt you won't see it.

There seems to be a problem with how you have the clutch set-up where it is enabled (set to 1) during engine start-up/low RPM - this makes the engine struggle/take longer to start up, and with heavy gearing, makes it not want to reach sufficient RPMs in order to start.
In the top left of your MC it essentially adds 1 to the clutch from the RPM/Throttle and/or checks in the bottom left for the 'Electric engine start' which sets the clutch to 1 during start-up/no-to-low throttle which should really be the opposite.
