I don't know too much about ui design and lua, plus I started focusing on other stuff so I didn't take the time to learn more.

Quick question, why aren't you making all these modifers into one single weather mod where you can enable different modes in-game?

Due to how the game works, I cannot make it so my shader/weather packs can be enabled while another is active. I have made a few mods that lets you have both enabled, like for example my night + rtplus pack

This mod randomly stops working, how do i fix it?

It might be because It only works on mod maps, or you haven´t enabled it.

The problem with doing that is that the file my mod changes temporary is always overwritten by base-game maps' settings, so I don't think that is possible to make before they change that
