NVM, even with that property they have their use, so their existence is very much justified (for example you can put them at 90 deg angle and move the line infantry back).

Is it intended that the defensive stakes ability is useless?
Once they are placed, if the unit behind them has no arch fire it considers them to be an obstacle and does not shoot at all?

This will get an update tomorrow yes. A lot of this mod, as I know now, can actually be incorporated directly into Guns of the Empire without issue, so I will incorporate all I can into the main mod and update this with whatever remains.

The description says exactly what this does. The changes are mostly aesthetic. The most functional one is that EME2 has a new unit set for gunpowder units and this puts GOTE into that unit set so all engineer skills will apply.

This is not necessary to run a game with both required mods on. Go without this and I'll check out the CTD issues.

Hey Snek, I am just getting a CTD with this mod loaded in my order at all. If I run this with guns of the empire and the newely picked up (finally) master engineer II mod. the game wont get past the loading screen of the logo and copyright message

I've updated this EME2 patch to correct the CTD problem. I added unit description keys, but that change in desc keys also needed to be repeated here. Make sure you have the most recent version of everything.

When i mouse over the blitzschutzen or the other top tier long range unit on recruit menu my game crashes to desktop, any info on this?

First, make sure you have the version of GOTE SFO I updated a couple hours ago. Unsubscribe from GOTE SFO, delete it from data, and resubscribe to make sure you have the most recent version.

I did not check this while also having the EME2 SFO patch running, so I'll add that to see if there is any problem.

Hey sorry to bother but I'm having some issues, I'm not able to launch with this mod and SFO, EME2(and its sfo and necessary effects mods), and GOTE SFO. If I disable just this and leave the rest it does launch with no issues. And I am using KMM.

looks like it's not work with Guns of the Empire sfo version. CTD when I use the sfo+Guns of the Empire sfo version+Empire Master Engineers2+Mechanical Steed Effects+Empire Master Engineers2 sfo Compatibility and Guns of the Empire + Empire Master Engineers 2 Compatibility

Updated to work with Robies changes to unit upgrades. That one change let me load a campaign in, so please let me know if anything else causes crashes.

Hello Snek and thank you for your super mods! Same problem here - yesterday worked fine and today the game doesn't launch if this compatibility mod is activated. And I don't use SFO , only GOTE on vanilla.
