id say 2005 to 2011?
The Bullsquid Enthusiast  [author] 5 May @ 9:26am
@sk8BOaredERRR 2015 Uhh.. yeah, that's why the mod is called what it is and why I place the Black Mesa Incident at that time.
SK8BoredERrr 2015 5 May @ 6:12am
K but that's still early 2000s
The Bullsquid Enthusiast  [author] 4 May @ 9:13pm
@sk8BOaredERRR 2015 Either late 2003 or early 2004. I've not really set an exact date since I've not yet ever needed one. Though in one of the pictures I set it as December 2003.
SK8BoredERrr 2015 4 May @ 3:11pm
so when in ur head cannon does the black mesa incident occure?
The Bullsquid Enthusiast  [author] 4 May @ 12:28pm
@sk8BOaredERRR 2015 Depends on your interpretation. My own headcanon places it in the early 2000's, hence the addon name and in-universe timestamps.
SK8BoredERrr 2015 4 May @ 8:21am
(black mesa event 2000-05) shouldnt this be 90s or 80s

Can You Do NPC Addon Of those? [Early 2000's HECU]
Maj. Mestaic 25 Feb @ 12:06pm
Ill try to find some tutorials online on how to do it, thanks
The Bullsquid Enthusiast  [author] 24 Feb @ 9:28pm
@Maj. Mestaic Surprisingly, I don't think I've ever actually been asked that. It would absolutely be possible, however I've long since abandoned this mod and have no intention of ever touching it again.

That said, it shouldn't be too hard to take the existing lens textures yourself and make an alternate version that is just colored green. Hell, you can probably do that with a single very simple line in the VMT, too.
Maj. Mestaic 24 Feb @ 6:24pm
Sorry if you got asked this already, but would it be possible to add body groups for the mask lenses color?
sircartier 22 Feb @ 9:06pm
@Reverend i dont use pac 3 so can you go in depth like step by step or post a video or something
If you guys wish to use this as a PM, you can use Legacy PAC3

https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2839196348

-Step 1: Download PAC3 off the workshop.

-Step 2: Press C. Click PAC3. In options, enable advanced mode.

-Step 3: Right click "World" in the PAC3 menu. Create an entity. In the settings, look for "hide". Enable it.

-Step 4: Attach a model to the entity. Click "Bonemerge" in the settings.

-Step 5: Find the model you wish to use. Click it. You now have that as your playermodel.

-Step 6: To apply bodygroup's attach 'bodygroup' to the ragdoll model you selected, click the three dots next to 'body group name' and select one of the things you want to change, for example: Belt, Boots, Filter Bottom, etc. Click It, and close the BodyGroupName menu.

Then set the model Index to 1, or just scroll through It until whatever you added appears. :steamhappy:

@cooldude4eva Refer to the description, Q&A about halfway through, question and subsequent answer #5.
cooldude4eva 12 Jan @ 10:05pm
can you make them a playermodel
Racún 26 Dec, 2024 @ 1:08pm
damn i wish these were playermodels
baldi.baldimore1234 15 Nov, 2024 @ 3:25pm
@the bullsquid enthusiast thank you!
The Bullsquid Enthusiast  [author] 15 Nov, 2024 @ 3:18pm
@baldi.baldimore1234 The ragdolls are probably just bases from something like Cold War US Infantry or any other mod that uses the DayZ/A3 head base. I made that picture well long ago and I could hardly even try and pinpoint exactly which minute variant it is.
baldi.baldimore1234 15 Nov, 2024 @ 2:21pm
@the bullsquid enthusiast I was talking about the actual ragdolls (I'm assuming they're ragdolls, but I might be wrong)
The Bullsquid Enthusiast  [author] 15 Nov, 2024 @ 1:19pm
@baldi.baldimore1234 You'll have to be more specific. There are a handful of different things used there and I cannot possibly list them all.
baldi.baldimore1234 15 Nov, 2024 @ 9:58am
so uh quick question but where can I find the models used in picture 11 other than this one?
Maxy 6 Oct, 2024 @ 4:32am
ah okay thank you very much
Maxy 5 Oct, 2024 @ 10:18am
Where can i find those holsters from image 11? The ones on the guy that is holding the sniper rifle
BigFatBiscuit556 24 May, 2024 @ 12:31pm
oh thanks
The Bullsquid Enthusiast  [author] 23 May, 2024 @ 5:59pm
@BigFatBiscuit556 No I just don't really want to make them such. Beyond the fact that it's an extremely old and dated model, I have no use or care for NPCs. If you can find any mod that uses the same models (of which I'm sure there are plenty) you can just submat the materials onto those if you really need it.
BigFatBiscuit556 23 May, 2024 @ 5:57pm
i also understand that they would glitch out if they were made into npc's
BigFatBiscuit556 23 May, 2024 @ 5:55pm
this would be awesome sauce if they were vj npc's but thanks for creating this.
ボールサック 18 May, 2024 @ 8:00am
nvm
ボールサック 18 May, 2024 @ 8:00am
why is it missing textures?
Rogeriforloki 30 Mar, 2024 @ 12:33pm
Wait, i was just stupid, it's there. Nevermind.
Rogeriforloki 28 Mar, 2024 @ 2:49pm
So i can't find the hecu equipment model anywhere, only the base model, clothes and head and arms, does anybody know how to fix this?
The Bullsquid Enthusiast  [author] 23 Mar, 2024 @ 6:46pm
@Gunslinger ☢ Indeed, I have been using something like that for a while now, though not when this addon was made.
Gunslinger ☢ 23 Mar, 2024 @ 1:00am
You can use a cracked studiomdl compiler that removes traditional source engine model limits if you are having issues with too many bodygroups and hitting the limits.

Better late than never.
The Bullsquid Enthusiast  [author] 14 Feb, 2024 @ 6:05pm
@Retroburger1984 I have no idea where I got it from just that it was OD by default.
Retroburger1984 14 Feb, 2024 @ 5:34pm
Can you send me the link?
The Bullsquid Enthusiast  [author] 14 Feb, 2024 @ 4:17pm
@Retroburger1984 Besides the fact that the mod has been abandoned for over two years , the green helmet was never meant to match the uniform, it was meant to match the vest gear. Making the uniform green would completely remove any semblance of an actual HECU model and defeat the entire purpose.

Also you can just do that yourself by finding the original MOPP suit model, because it comes in olive drab by default.
Retroburger1984 14 Feb, 2024 @ 3:44pm
What why?!
The Bullsquid Enthusiast  [author] 14 Feb, 2024 @ 2:29pm
@Retroburger1984 Nope.
Retroburger1984 14 Feb, 2024 @ 12:08pm
Can you add the option to make the uniform completely green to match up with the green helmet option?
The Bullsquid Enthusiast  [author] 28 Jan, 2024 @ 2:47pm
@Thegun21ss There is no playermodel so there is no need for c_hands.
TheGunss 28 Jan, 2024 @ 12:43pm
are there c hands?
Dubya 1 Jan, 2024 @ 3:08am
always the best models turn out to be ragdolls
Pea_head06 28 Dec, 2023 @ 1:48pm
itz hut if u want to do war sfmz:steamthumbsup:
The Bullsquid Enthusiast  [author] 24 Dec, 2023 @ 2:27pm
@JRzockt According to the Q&A in the description, question #1 reads "Is this a playermodel/NPC?" with an answer reading "No, just a model meant for posing."
JRzockt 23 Dec, 2023 @ 5:38am
are these just models or actual npc's?
Retroburger1984 4 Dec, 2023 @ 5:03pm
ok
The Bullsquid Enthusiast  [author] 4 Dec, 2023 @ 2:42pm
@Retroburger1984 No
